Pablito's serves Peruvian food one of my favorites. They sell all the traditional foods Lomo saltado and ceviche. their ceviches are amazing. and their chicken is so tender, flavorful, and juicy. this place used to be a food truck so they have items like lomo saltado sandwiches and fries loaded with all kinds of delicious toppings. which is great for a quick lunch.

Very good Peruvian food in Burbank. Known for its food truck Pablito's has brought its menu to Burbank. Get Peruvian staples like Papa Ala Huancaina and Lomo Saltado. If you enjoy ceviche get their fresh ceviche de pescado.

Awesome evening!! I really thought this was just going to be Peruvian food like any other place. Thinking it's just a truck that turned brick and mortar but certainly a huge surprise. After spotting the place driving right by it, finding street parking was a sinch. The sign above the awning doesn't quite pop out at you but definitely creative with the picture on it. The place has huge murals in the back and the menu on the wall written in chalk really sets the place up like you were transported to another place. There are still flat screen monitors with animated menus showing more of that creativity. I was here at a table for four with Christina across from me and Leo C and Marcus next to us.

First thing we get on the table is the Pisco Sour. Certainly a really sour drink and really refreshing. Gets your taste-buds ready for the ceviche. I just didn't care for the roasted or fried hominy (those big corn looking things, right?). Next is the rotisserie chicken which is just the thighs. One of the best flavors on the chicken skin I have had in a long while. If Pablito's serves just chicken skin, I would buy a bucket of chicken skin to eat. The chicharron sandwich is packed with flavor with this toasted bread like you could have just slapped this thing together after buying the pork from here. You just won't be able to duplicate the onions and sauce but you can definitely assemble it. When I say you, I really mean me. The seafood paella was definitely something I could just continue eating a whole plate of or with each and every single dish. Is that the Asian part of me having rice with everything? Pablito sauce, I can taste the anchovy-goodness in this slow burner of hot sauce. You can try this on the paella or the traditional aji green sauce if you can stand the heat. The Yucca with this different sauce that is mayo based and some salty-ness to it. Leo definitely has a palate and told us we are tasting the ancho-fish sauce in it. Chicken wings came in spicy or sweet but if you were smart enough to alternate at the table, you can all trade and try each one.

There was a long pause which almost seem like the party is just about over but there is only two people in the kitchen cranking out all of this good food for us. There was also a passion fruit sour that we all got to try. For dessert, there are these little cookies filled in the center with dulce de leche? It was like this caramel like sweetness in this flaky type of macaron but Peruvian style. The food I described above was not in the same order as the food came out but just samples of what we can try coming to this place. I even saw ramen on the menu so I'll be coming back one of these days to try everything again.

Burbank is not do much a foodie community, but Pablito's is going to change that. They have great Peruvian food. If you love seafood and food packed with flavor this place is for you. They have all the classics like Lomo saltado and ceviche. But their Pollo a la brasa is a must try it's the tastiest chicken you'll ever try! They have live music on the weekends. And one of the employees even gives salsa lessons!

Peruvian food is a welcome addition to the variety of restaurants you can access in Burbank! Family run and on the pricer side but huge portions. You can make two meals from their fried rice.
