Weather

Boston is a top destination and books up early between April and November. May and June are often busy with college graduations, but with highs in the 60s and 70s, it's perfect weather for walking the Freedom ... Read more
Trail or catching a Red Sox game. Fall brings the famous New England foliage, the Head of the Charles Regatta, and crisp weather perfect for sipping hot chocolate. Bostonians have an added trick to check the weather: the lights atop the John Hancock tower. They remember the code with this poem: Steady blue, clear view. Flashing blue, clouds due. Steady red, rain ahead. Flashing red, snow instead.

Amazing walking path along the city, parts have benches and areas to picnic along the Charles River

Love Cambridge! Home of Harvard University and MIT, Cambridge is filled with an atmosphere of academics. At the same time, it's subtly vibrant bordering the beautiful Charles river, frequented by the crew and sailing teams, joggers and bicyclers. I always felt like it's a little peaceful haven that's just a river apart from one of the busiest cities in the country. The Boston skylines as viewed from the Cambridge side cannot be more gorgeous!

Beautiful place to walk around to see the green grass juxtaposed with the red brick buildings. Bring a camera and take a leisurely stroll.

It maybe known as primarily a college town but every time I've been here I've really enjoyed myself. Great atmosphere - plenty of great places to eat and shop and not as frantic as Boston can be.

Cambridge is adorable. The houses remind me of the movies where kids go off to college and do something terrible, but then make things right, fall in love, and live happily ever after. This is that town plus more! Harvard. Enough said.

If the cost of living weren't so high, I'd love to live in Cambridge. Some neighborhoods look a whole lot like Sesame Street, but the culture, restaurants, and buzz of Porter, Harvard and Central Square are never far away. Inman Square is another favorite that gets less traffic since it's not on the T's Red Line.

Cambridge is a lot of fun! Home to Harvard and MIT, it very much has a college flair at times.
