I love to walk this four mile cove that is shaded by trees and halfway through you come to a pier on the water where you can look out on the open water. Great for exercise and peaceful tranquility.

A great way to get out of the sun for a walk through nature. The boardwalk makes for an easy walk among the native mangroves. Very peaceful. You are able to rent kayaks here as well!

Truly nature at its finest. Basically undisturbed land that allows you to forget the fast paced life that we all lead and lets you just relax for awhile in the most natural of settings.

There are a number of great Ecological Preserves that should be seen. Another great one is Ding Darling on Sanibel Island.

Hiking & Trails- close to the heart of Cape Coral- but when you are in the preserve you'll feel like you are out in the middle of no-where. You can kayak at this preserve too.
