Great place for a wedding venue. The place is beautiful and they had great service!

Local from San Diego

Strangely enough, in all the time I've spent here, I've never stayed in one of the rooms! I've been here for brunch, dinner, drinks, and to swim in the pool, all either with friends or to visit family staying here. In any case, the place is absolutely stunning - beautiful ambience, extravagant decor, lavish grounds, and impeccable service. I highly recommend - even if just for cocktails at (one of) the bars.

This place is awesome! I'm going back!

Now, I'm one of those people who adjusts my expectation based on where I'm going, how much it costs, what I think I should expect, etc. And I knew I should expect a 4 or 5 star experience, but I was also afraid I would get the kind of service that was good, but kind of fake. I'm glad to say I was wrong. Everyone we dealt with seemed to be genuinely helpful and good at what they did.

The property is amazing. The pools have great views. Although, I would have to say the adult serenity pool has the view I enjoyed the most.

We were celebrating an anniversary and when we arrived in our room, not only did they have a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and other candies prepared for us, but they also had a little card saying "Happy Anniversary". It's those little touches that makes it stand out from the rest.

We filled out one of their comment cards at the end of the stay, just saying everything was good and specifically naming the employees who had assisted us. They actually mailed us a letter expressing their appreciation for our comments. Even after we left, we were impressed by their service and attention to detail!

The spa is really nice too, they seem to think of everything here.

Service- 5 stars
Atmosphere- 5 stars

This place is nuts. First off, the lobby is larger than the 4 bedroom I live in. the grounds are so big that there is a shuttle that takes you to the golf course, the pool, and the tennis courts. The rooms themselves are amazing. The be was super soft with plenty of pillows. The room even had an espresso machine in it. In the giant lobby lounge they have tea on weekends at 2 and they have someone come in and play on the grand piano in the middle.

I can say that in all honesty, this place is a resort. The hotel itself seems like your average fancy hotel, but then you enter the front and it’s truly spectacular. It shares some of its space with the Four Seasons it seems like, but there is ample space. And it doesn’t feel small nor closed in. A lot of the rooms, built for luxury, provide gorgeous views of the golf course (a small drive down the hill) and of Batiquitos Lagoon. It also had a spa- something I didn’t try but passed by, sadly. Looked reasonably priced though!
It’s several minutes to the Legoland Hotel and Theme Park, and hop on the freeway to SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo. But I found this little piece of heaven in the San Diego Botanic Garden, just a few minutes from the resort. Highly recommend checking that out if you have time!

An excellent resort. The Park Hyatt is not your typical Hyatt. It is definitely a premiere property. The rooms are very nice, but the grounds and amenities are what make this place stand out. The service is a few notches above the standard.

World-class service and amenities. Delicious breakfast buffet. Gorgeous grounds. Nice bathrooms, even!

I love this place!

With the last click of the door, walking away was the hardest thing I did all week. This place is heaven! It's more than a home away from home.

When wifey told me we have a whole week's stay, I was excited. This was our second time here. Being here in mind and body has been a great way for me to re-energize my spirit and spend some nice alone time with wifey since work has made me become a Debbie-downer.

Four Seasons RC has exceeded my expectations when it comes to the ultimate vacation. The one bedroom villa is quite spacious and you forget that there are other rooms around you. You want amenities; they definitely have them, room service, and laundry service (even though there is a small washer/dryer in the room). Don't want to go out to eat, you can cook up your fave dish easily because all the necessary tools are there. The dining table seats 6 so you can proudly display your creation. If you do make a mess it's cleaned up the next day by housekeeping.

The living room has a fold out bed for snuggling in front of the gas fire place. If you wanted to pay a little extra to make your home away from home more special; you can your furry kids stay with you! Dog beds are available along with dog bowls minus the food.

This villa has two bathrooms. The bedroom and living room both have patios. The details in the room just spell luxury, for example they used to offer Bulgari lotion, shampoo, conditioner and soaps and now they offer L'Occitane products(I prefer Bulgari, but have grown to love L'Occitane). The bed was super soft and if you wanted to listen to music or hear nature there is an iHome alarm clock and dock for your iPod.

The resort has two different sections: The Residence Club Meadows and Residence Club Summit. Both have a fitness room, pool, and such a long list of other amenities that I would just recommend you experience it for yourself. And for the fitness vacationers- there's even a map for running 3 different distances ranging from a short 2.5k, 5K, 10.5K which gives you a nice view of the resort as well as the surrounding neighborhood and Batiquitos Lagoon (small hiking trail here). There's plenty to do, but what I definitely love is the view and the beautiful sunset.

Although the Four Seasons Hotel is now Park Hyatt Aviara, folks who stay at FSRC have access to the Park Hyatt Aviara amenties, such as their pools and spa. If you get a chance to stay here, do it! There will be no ounce of regret other than not being able to stay longer.

Ps. Wifey thank you!

Great location about a half hour north of San Diego, which means closer to the winelands, outlet shopping and surfing at Solana Beach. The rooms are spotless and wonderfully decorated, the pools have comfortable chairs, great food and very often some afternoon smoothie surprises!

One of the world's best resorts! About a five minute drive away to golf and great dining.

What a beautiful place to relax and enjoy yourself.
Great pools and hot tubs! The gyms are great, they even have tvs on the equipment and they provide head phones. Great location for hiking.
The rooms are beautiful, loved the fireplace that turned on with a flip of a switch. The staff are awesome here, always pleasant and helpful!

Hotel is now the Park Hyatt Aviara - hotel owners got in a fight w/ Four Seasons and changed the management contract in 2011.
