I've been to LEGOLAND California at least 5 times and even though I am a grown adult, I really like this place. There is a very few list of amusement parks that cater to really small children. This place is it, if you have kids younger than 12 but bigger than 2 who like to go on rides. There are a few rides that are more for adults but I'd say 80% of them are for the younger children. They also have an area where you see cities made out of Legos. Las Vegas and New York city are a couple to name from many. I really like how this place brings out the technicality and imagination of kids the old fashion way. Who knows? Maybe LEGOLAND will inspire your kids to become an engineer or builder when he/she gets older.

A fun place filled with amazing LEGO creations of all sizes. Geared and enjoyed best with young kids, about 3-11.

This theme park is perfect for families with younger kids. It is enjoyable for both kids and parents. There are plenty of fun rides and a water park for the hot summer months.

Fun for all ages, although there weren’t many rides for the younger ones. They still loved all the legos though!

We have taken the kids here three times and they still love it. The high-tech Ninjago ride was a big thrill But their favorite is still the driving school. I will be sad when they out grow Legoland!

Legoland is a amusement park any young child loves attending. It's only 15 minutes away by car from our Oceanside home.

For kids 10 and under, a great day long excursion! Older kids will get bored.

It's my first time ever at Legoland and I have to say I enjoyed it. I got my first Lego set when I was about 14 yrs old. I could build a house (basic set) and that was it. Lol. Now, you name if, they can build it with Lego's, AMAZING!!

My family was out here for 3 days to celebrate my son's birthday week. So everything we did was geared towards my young child (no roller coaster type rides on this trip, lol). My son had a blast.

My son's favorites:
*Junior Driving School (3-5 yrs old) - slow speed driving & you get a driver's license when you're done.
*Fairy Tale Brook - row boat ride through fairy tale land. Very creative and fun.
*Coast Cruise - Boat ride through world and US city landmarks.
*Design and Build - build your own Lego vehicle and race against other kids. You get a red ribbon for winning.
*Duplo Village - a Giant playground. Awesome for a tired parent, hahaha.

My Favorites:
*Star Wars Miniland - OMG, I was like a kid in a candy store. I'm a Star Wars geek and this was worth the price of admission by it's self.
*Miniland USA - Lego models of Cities and landmarks. Amazing!!
*Design and Build - you didn't think I was going to let my son have all the fun, right. I built my own race vehicle (in my case a bike, lol) we had a family race (of course I won, lol) in fact my bike won 14 races, undefeated baby!! Hahaha. Sorry to all the kids I beat =)

Food choices was plentiful. But taste wise, it was sad. We tried
*Wok N Roll - Ramen (just ok) and sir fry noodles. (Tofu was good, chicken was Yuck!)
*Garden Restaurant - tuna melt (that's NOT a tuna melt) and Smoke Brisket sandwich (hard bread, no BBQ sauce and DRY) Meh!
*Pizza and Pasta Buffet - good for kids, not good for me. Pasta salad was tasteless and they had the worst Bolognese pasta I've ever had.
Tip: bring your own lunch.

Employees were helpful and friendly.
Tip: Bring your Lego mini figures you don't like. Exchange them with any of the employees at the park (they have some very unique ones). Just be courteous and ask nicely. We got 4 unique mini figures we haven't seen before. Score!!

FYIs
*You can go 1 hour early if you stay at Legoland Hotel
*The hours of operation varies quite a bit from what is posted on Yelp. Make sure you look at their official times.
*Annual Pass Member gets 20% off food and merchandise.

It might have been my first time, but it won't be my last. If you have kids, GO!!
If you don't, Still GO!! They have something interesting for everyone =)

LegoLand is a great place to enjoy kids and grandkids in a fun environment. This park features rides for all ages; some with height restrictions that hold out most under 4 or so. The park offers entertainment, shopping and food. If you live nearby, the year pass is a great deal!

Legoland is a fun family place to take your kids. It seems more suitable for children ages 12 and under, but if you have older children who have never been there before it can be a fun family day.

For the kid in all of us.. Take the kids to Legoland for the day. Located 6-miles south from Oceanside. Not only does the park have all the rides, they also have a water park.. fun for the whole family.

Expensive but ALOT of fun! Lots of rides and rollercoasters! Had a blast at the waterpark. I'm pretty sure I went around the lazy river about 20 times. The different Lego sculptures are absolutely incredible!
