This old fort was built by the Spanish and was one of the first fortifications in the country. Today it is full of lovely walled gardens, a free guided tour, and a lot of paintings and sculptures. This historic fort is definitely worth visiting. It will let you explore a part of the Philippines history, as well as, the Spanish influence on the country.

A great place to reminisce about the past. Its full of history from our time under the Spanish rule...plus at night it becomes this rustic romantic place great for lovers!

This previous fort was used as a stronghold, prison and even a city zoo. Now it's just a quiet garden park filled with locals and tourists. It's crumbling in parts but still very photogenic. There isn't a whole lot to see anymore but it's nice to watch the locals in this area who come here to get away from the city and traffic.

Just a typical fort on a smaller scale compared to intramuros in Manila. Historical though so also worth a visit. Cebu city is small so it won't hurt.

Very small fort compared to Intramuros. Have entrance fee. The air is fresher inside than the city.
