It's a great historic city with an intimate historic downtown area where many buildings are still in its original structure. Southern charm is at its best here with so many restaurants and bars to chooose from. Streets are narrow in downtown so beware.

It's worth the drive to Charleston! Lots of history, nice places to eat and to shop.
Guided history horse drawn buggy tours as well.
