You're going to love this. Check online for any special events. I especially love going down on a cave tour during crazy hot seasons. It make for a very enjoyable day, despite a humid, hot day in the 90s. I highly suggest getting there before the doors open if possible. The lines can get long. It is very educational.

Very cool cave hike that is guided. If you are claustrophobic this might not be the best place for you.

So cool to go hundreds of feet inside the mountain, walk the underground path and end up at the falls!

Tourist attraction? Yes. But worth it? Yes! A waterfall over 1100 feet below the surface of the earth is definitely cool. You can take a guided tour, and see stalactites and stalagmites along the way. Probably a good idea to wear close toed shoes, as it does get a bit wet.

Amazing for anyone and everyone! Don't wear white! Make sure your shoes are anti-slip! If you're claustrophobic I wouldn't recommend it because you'll be 1000 feet under ground and the way to the waterfall is pretty narrow but the scenery is breathtaking. We had a blast!

I was thirteen when I visited Ruby Falls (12 years ago), but I remember it vividly. It's a beautiful place to see. Bright colors, cool shapes, and many good opportunities for pictures. I look forward to seeing it as adult with a fresh perspective and my husband and daughter.

Really cool place, great for families and kids. It's a bit chilly inside the cave so bring a jacket to keep you warm! The tour guide was really nice and made sure no one was left behind. The waterfall was stunning. The food there wasn't that great.

Bring a sweatshirt, because it's chilly down there. The falls are just a short hike through a cavern with amazing stalactites and stalagmites. The falls are lit up with different colored lighting. The guide will tell you all about the history of the caves and falls. It's a fun place to go to for an afternoon

Short & Sweet! Well Worth the walk towards the falls... Stunning views along the way... They know how to build anticipation... The sound of the falls approaching was great... The falls were breathtaking... The light show I could have stayed longer but there were groups coming and going constantly... Understandably they wanted us to move on... Highly recommended to see how nature transforms...

Located deep within Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls is a great place for families, friends or anyone interested in the outdoors (even though it's in a cave lol). If you come in October you can participate in one of the nation's scariest haunted tours.

Make sure to go when it has rained well. Otherwise, you might be disappointed with the waterfalls. And be prepared to walk a while.

Fantastic adventure for all ages here at Ruby Falls and can be combined with Rock City and Chattanooga Aquarium for a full day trip. It's about 1.5 hours drive from our cabin to Chattanooga.

Ruby Falls is a beautiful waterfall within Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga. It was discovered back in the early nineteen-twenties. It is one of the most incredible sights that I have ever seen.

United States,

Ruby Falls is a nice place to cool off after a Lon day of walking through other nearby attractions. The delightful cavern tours are given by guides who make the experience worth taking. They'll give you the history of the cave, show you the various named and unnamed formations, and take you to the spectacular waterfall you're there to see.
