Tasty, walking distance from hotels and parks, medium-sized groups ok, standard. Got cheese curds this time which were yummy! Minestrone soup was chock full of veggies and tasty. Pizza, as always, was crisp on the crust and ooeey gooey inside :) lunch special was $10

I was expecting AMAZING pizza but it wasn't. California (Downey) pizza still tops this pizza! Oh and ny pizza for sure!

Best deep pizza I've had so far! Once you taste it you will see what all the local rave is about! This is one stop you must make while visiting Chicago.

Good food, but the service on the day I was there was particularly bad...not sure what it was, but I'd be willing to give them another shot when I'm in the area.

There are many Giardano's restaurants in the city, and all are great! Atmosphere is crowded sports bar that's also good for families and large groups. Their deep dish pizza is amazing!!

Giordano's is a perfect place to enjoy a different pizza. It's nothing similar to what I've tried before. The price is high but it's really worth it for at least once in your life. Service was perfect, it's close to downtown and the atmosphere was cool.

One of the best deep dish pizza I had in Chicago!

Come get a number and they will have you come back in 45 minutes as that is how long it takes to cook a deep dish pizza. The Magnificent Mile (outdoor shopping strip) is only two blocks down, so head over there and walk around as you wait for them to text you.

Right across from the Peninsula Hotel, is an easy access as it is downstairs and across the street. This pizza is known for their cheesiness and it did not disappoint! We got the classic which was basically a supreme pizza in deep dish form. The ooey gooey cheese was absolutely heaven!

I may get shot for this, but my opinion is meh! It's okay, but I have definately had better pizza in and out of Chicago.

By far the BEST stuffed pizza I've ever had. Service was good. Stuffed is 45 min wait so I recommend ordering while you wait to be seated if possible. This is a favorite that we try to get whenever we are in town.

Giordano's is another option for deep dish pizza asides from Lou's. Pretty great lunch special where you can get your own personalized pizza, salad and drink. Worth a try to see the difference between the two,

I had lunch here today. $10 + tax gets you a personal 1 toping deep dish, salad or soup, and fountain drink. The pizza is delicious! A Chicago staple that never let's you down. The house salad was also amazing. They have plenty of dining room space, but on this occasion I decided to sit at the bar. It's a small quaint bar. Not much to comment on that front. Service was top notch, although there was only 2 of us at the bar. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and I know I'll be back!

I lived in Chicago for over 15 years, and this is my suggestion for the best Chicago style pizza. The Rush street location has the best décor and if you are a tourist going for the first time go here. If you want to avoid a long wait there are other locations throughout the city. When I moved from New Jersey, I just couldn't do the thin crust thing, so I fell in love with Chicago style pizza. I've tried all of the big ones and this is definitely the best. My choice, because I know you are dying to know, pepperoni and mushroom. Now that I have moved I have found out that they will ship frozen pizzas to you, definitely doing this sometime soon.

Chicago number one pizza. It's my first time to eat stuffed pizza. When I was sitting on the table and waiting for our pizza, I could see how employees make the stuffed pizza through the glass of open kitchen. OMG! Look how many cheeses they had put into the pizza, the calories must be super high. But, delicious food always not that healthy.

I wanted some good old fashioned deep dish -- did not disappoint!

House salad - lots of garlic and really good!

Deep dish with sausage and garlic-broccoli. Super awesome and garlic-y as well.

Felt very much like a chain, but a good spot for families and groups. A good amount of tourists from the nearby hotels. I'd like to try a few other spots before returning!

First time to Chicago and having a deep dish pizza and it was Awesome!!! The waiter was friendly and I was the first customer so didn't have to deal with a crowd. I also had a salad that was fresh and delicious.
