expectations, Uno completed a multi-million dollar kitchen upgrade in its restaurants, installing sauté stations, grills and fryers, and invested heavily in the training of its front and back of the house staff. The new Uno Chicago Grill locations are larger and feature a "Chicago warehouse" look that creates an inviting dining environment. These new prototype restaurants continue to generate above-average sales volumes.

Small place but packed with people. The atmosphere was great and the deep dish pizza even better! By the time we got our food there was a line outside in the freezing cold. Totally worth it though. Small tables but the pizza makes up for it.

The mecca for deep dish pizza Chicago style. This restaurant opened back after WW2 by a returning GI and it has made history ever since.

My favorite deep dish place. Completely worth the wait to get it, the crust is so good, and they stack the toppings like no where else

Super yummy deep dish that feels a little less corporate and very personal. See niciecy when you come in.

the cornerstone of pizza places and where Lou Malnati's got his recipe. the wait time can be extremely long, but always worth it.

A reasonable place to try a Chicago pie but a bit too institutional / touristy. I far prefer Gino’s East – has better atmosphere and I prefer the pizza.

Chicago is best known for its deep dish pizza, so when a local told me I should have a traditional pizza for my first dinner here, I dutifully listened. Pizzeria Uno is one of the best in town which is easily confirmed by the never-ending lines. You basically wait on line to put yourself on the list while simultaneously ordering, for it can take up to an hour to get your pizza. Mine took more than an hour ... Not sure if I would wait again for this long, but it's definitely a tasty one.

The home of the original, or a copy of the original, Chicago deep dish. This is definitely a destination where you have to go if you are a fan of foodie history. Unfortunately their success has spawned the mass produced Uno's Chicago Grill which can be found in every strip mall in America.

Good deep dish pizza. Not my favorite in Chicago but a good place to grab a beer and grub on a cold winter day!

One of Chicago's more famous pizzeria's and one of the oldest places to serve deep dish style pizzas. While it has plenty of history, the quality of pizza here doesn't compare to Lou Malnati's or Giordano's

This is my favorite Chicago style pizza, but this place is often crowded with tourists even during the brutal winter. Pizzeria Due a block north is the same restaurant but less well known.

A must visit if you're in Chicago. Most people haven't tried authentic deep dish Chicago style pizza and this is the place to experience that. It's always crowded so expect a wait.

Chicago pizza lives here, their deep dish is good though not up to par with what I love. Also, it can be a little salty, but I guess that's kind of par for the course with deep dish pizza.

i'm just not so much about the crust, so deep dish isn't usually my choice. but come on ... their pizza is fantastic.

Going to Lionville PA branch. Wish I could do the original! I like thin crust and vegetables on it!
