Must see! You can drive through, although traffic can be very heavy. You can also walk through the park. It is a wonderful location and an exception thing to do while in the area. Please note: do not climb on the rocks and stay on the trails. People get injured and in trouble every year by climbing the rock formations.

Scenic and easy drive from Denver or Colorado Springs, but pales in comparison to Utah. Arches lite.

I wasn't sure what to expect as I had not done any research, but loved this day trip! If you love the outdoors this is a must see! There were options for a keep or bus tour, but we just parked our cars and walked. I could have spent the whole day there climbing and exploring.

Walking the trails of the Garden of the Gods is a peaceful experience where I feel connected to the land, wind and the clouds. It was considered a sacred site by the area's Indian tribes. In 1909, the land was donated to the City of Colorado Springs by the heirs of Charles Elliot Perkins with the stipulation that visitors would not be charged an entrace fee. The photo on my rental site was taken by my daughter as she hiked the high trails. Be sure to visit! (take water).

It's Garden of the Gods! Great views and vistas. Walk among the giant sandstone formations. Go early in the morning to avoid crowds and heat during the summer months.
