This is central square in Copenhagen! You'll find City Hall here, and just across the street is the historic Tivoli Gardens. You'll find lots of activity in this plaza with buskers and tourists. Don't miss the very cool Weather Girl statue perched high atop the Richs buildingin the plaza, with a girl riding a bicycle.

Home to the Town Hall of Copenhagen, this large square sits between the main shopping area and the renowned Tivoli Gardens. It is unlikely you will spend much time here but you will pass through on your way to many of the attractions in Copenhagen. The Town Hall itself is an impressive building and worthy of a photo.

Rådhuspladsen is the City Hall Square and helps make up the heart of downtown Copenhagen. At night, the surrounding buildings are lit up with neon signs. Contains the Rådhuset (Town Hall) and the statue of Hans Christian Andersen.

Rådhuspladsen is the city center. It's a huge square where people tend to hang out and maybe have a bacon-wrapped hot dog. The square is a good place to meet people, and it's near a bus terminal. Near the Rådhus itself, you'll find the statue of Hans Christian Andersen.

Old city centre with city hall and lots of enchanting sculptures including the famous one of hans Christian andersen. Memorable but maybe not worth all the fuss except on bright blue days.

City Hall square - Radhuspladsen is centrally located and a nice place to watch the locals and the tourists. There always seem to be something going around. There is also a sculpture of Hans Christian Andersen at the side which is big enough to take your picture sitting in his lap. Tivoli Gardens is just down the street, another great place to visit. Look for the weather girl.

It's a square, and it's the square where the City Hall happens to be.. Compared to more famous squares of the world, this one's just fine. There was a lot of construction going on the two times that I've been there (2010 and 2011) so perhaps I'll give it another try after they're done.

There are statues there too, and a certain Hans among others, but no, let's go see the mermaid..

Take the time and go inside... the building is mostly open to the public to wander through. It's beautiful... it's HUGE inside! The stone stairs and brick accents are just amazing....

As a landmark it's amazing to think this space is open to the public to see and wander around in. Also you'll be excited to see that many people who are getting married will be wandering around the building... There is a civil chapel in the building which made the whole experience of visiting even more magical!

The City Hall Square is the center of Copenhagen's commercial district. The Radhus itself has a World Clock. Up at the top you will see a sculpture of a girl on a bicycle, and if it's raining, you see the girl with an umbrella. Around the side of the Radhus you can find a pretty big statue of Hans Christian Anderson which is a great place to take a photo.
