We choose this restaurant for our last meal in Cusco and were not disappointed. Pachapapa is one of the best places to try true Peruvian food like guinea pig and ceviche. They have outdoor seating and a big wood fire oven.

PachaPapa= potatoes, pomme de terre. We sat outside in candle lights, by the open bread oven (best sweet buns in Peru!) Pisco Sour also excellent. Tried Alpaca. No comment.

Pachapapa is so great that we went twice during our 7 day trip to Peru. First for the famous pizza with cured alpaca and second for the guinea pig. Both were so unique and delicious! The outdoor dining area is nicely surrounded by heat lamps for those cold nights in Cusco and the local brewed tea sure will warm you up. This restaurant should be on your "do not miss" list.

Pachapapa is a very warming restaurant at the San Blas neighborhood. They have good drinks, good service and really good Peruvian food. They have an internal and an external dining room. For those who happen or choose to sit outside, they have heaters and blankets for when it's cold. If you're up for it, ask to try the chicha de jora, the local distilled liquor made of corn, they may be a little resistent to give it to you, but they will.

Great little sanctuary off of Plaza San Blas. Yes, it caters to tourists but the atmosphere is great and the food is very good. A nice place to sit outside and relax before exploring the neighborhood.

This was a cute restaurant serving classic Peruvian dishes in a pretty patio/courtyard. Everything was delicious, but since the food was presented a little fancier than normal it might not be the most authentic version of each classic. Overall, it's an easy pick if you are traveling with a group. There's something for everyone, it tastes really good, and it's presented nicely should you have anyone be picky/high-maintenance. Cuy is offered here, but I think there are better places to eat it in the Valle Sagrado because mine (pictured) was on the skinny side. I've seen plumper, juicier guinea pigs elsewhere...
