Dinky room for outrageous price. Couldn’t even shut the door when sittin on pot.

I stayed at the Hilton Anatole when my husband traveled to Dallas for a business trip. It was a nice hotel, but the wifi was spotty. There was a lot of art throughout the property, including this piece of the Berlin Wall.

I've been here for two artist portfolio review days, utilizing the ballroom halls. The hotel is beautiful on the inside with gorgeous art displayed. I am local and thus haven't spent the night, but it seems like a lovely stay.

Hilton Anatole is a huge hotel with plenty of room for a convention or seminar. Very nice setup and about 5 minutes from downtown Dallas and 25 minutes from the airport.

Though situated in the convention district, the Anatole doesn’t feel at all like a “convention hotel.” The collection of Asian art displayed throughout is so massive, that it’s earned a walking tour and accompanying app as part of the hotel’s features. The V Spa, is a can’t miss experience either. I’ve enjoyed several indulgent services, almost all of which begin with a relaxing foot soak.

The Hilton Anatole is one of the most beautiful hotels I have had the chance to stay at numerous times. Out of the Hilton and its umbrella its on my top list of hotels to stay at.

This hotel is HUMONGOUS! The hotel is on quite a bit of land...from what I remember the staff said it was over 40 acres all together! Who needs that much space!

One of the few hotels that has a jogging trail and a tennis court with it. They do have an indoor and outdoor pool, fitness center, volleyball, and spa. The last time I was there, (from what I understood) they had a separate fitness club/pool that had to be paid for in order to use it for longer term if you are interested. There is a small Koi pond in the park area and there is seating area that a fire could be lit at. The outside area is just beautiful and well kept. If your going for a wedding or celebration, it would be fantastic to stay at and have a ceremony out there because of the upkeep.

The hotel itself is unbelievable. They have changed their decor to an Asian theme (which I ADORE! ) and is beautifully done. There are several towers (atrium) that hold the guest rooms. If you have the chance, stay at the larger tower on the higher floors. The higher floors are usually saved for Hilton Honors and the decor and view are a lot nice and better. The Asian theme is well scene in those room than in the smaller tower. As you walk from one end of the hotel to the other, you will get a work out. There have a large number of meetings rooms, small shops, and several restaurants/bars as you walk across the hotel. The Media Grill & Bar so far has been my favorite restaurant. At night there is a back area that they move the seating and turn it into a dance floor. My favorite dish from them is the Parmesan Jack Crab Melt! Its divine! Its real crab and its does not have an over powering seafood taste. Its perfect!

In the area where this restaurant is, its beautiful. They have this weird art piece at the top that moves naturally moves and it looks like it dimensions change as its moves. In the center his this nice watering decoration that looks like it could be a runway for models. Its decorated interesting and I think its a beautiful hotel.

The staff is super helpful and the check in has always been painless. The concierge have been great. Anything that I have wanted or needed they have directed me to or were able to get it for me. Its one of the better Hiltons I have stayed out. They are a bit pricey depending on the time of the year and events that are going on but you are paying for the Hilton name.

Like many things in Texas, and like many Texans that pride themselves on largess, the Hilton Anatole is HUGE!

It's bigger than a 10 gallon hat and nearly as big as the back 40. You might even say, it is a little too big for its britches.

There are 2 main lobbies in the hotel, and there are 3 towers of rooms: Atrium 1, Atrium 2 and the Tower.

The Atriums are 13 story tall buildings without the 13th floor, built in a square with about 10 rooms per side, in an atrium pattern with a huge skylight. Atrium 2 is being remodeled, so it is closed for the summer of 2010. The Atrium 1 is a huge space, but little used when I was here for anything but a walk way. The Tower lobby is about a quarter mile from the Atrium 1 lobby, and you have to walk past 2 bars to get from one to the other, with the Atrium 2 construction inbetween.

The hotel has been remodeled, from a Tex-Mex decor to a more refined Asian decor of soft olive, brick and taupe shades in the room furnishings, and a lot of Faux Asian artifacts throughout, including 2 large elephant sculptures in the Tower lobby and many other caligraphy prints, buddhas, and other Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Indian inspired pieces in the rooms, hallways, and lobbies.

For a full service Hilton, the valet and bell services were lightly staffed. The check-in service was efficient and friendly, however. The elevators are super fast, but all on one side of the atriums. There are many ballrooms and meeting rooms for conferences, but wireless wifi is nearly non-existent and costs when it is available. They have a great dining/meeting room complex on the 27th floor of the Tower, which allowed in room food service ina nice environment with full service and a great 27th floor view, However, the AC was cranked too hight that the women were freexing, there were no electrical plugs by our classroom seating tables, and the wireless was so pathetic that we bought our own router for the 20 laptops were using for training.

Also, many people seem to have sneexing or allergies, not sure if this was the AC or perhaps some residiual dust or mildew from the remodellng or the damp summer weather/heat in July.

There is a huge amount of parking for events, but getting around is a hike, and the rates are not that cheap, usually in the $150 - $225 range. We got super group discount rates for a group of a couple thousand, and it was a bargain basement $62/ night. But it did rain everyday while it was 90 degrees.

At one time, this was one of the areas nicer hotels. But times have caught up with this place and now it has grown tired old and just plain dated. The hotel bar is in need of a makeover and the rooms are hit and miss with many of them not even offering a single window to the outside world.

Great hotel. Huge sprawling complex. Amazing gym.
