Located in the heart of Denver, near the Performing Arts Center and the Museum of Contemporary art. They offer guests a themed- room option that's worth it! Make sure to get your warm cookie from the lobby.

conveniently located at the 14th street with walking distance to 16th street and Larimer square. The hotel is boutique and nice. The only draw back is sometimes it's noisy outside.

The Curtis reminds me of a Brady Bunch special. Maybe it’s all the brown and orange or that staffers are cute and bubbly, or that the style of the common areas veer from mid-century mod to futuristic in a Jetsons sort of way, but it felt like I’d stepped into the ‘70s when I first hit the lobby. There also are a bunch of kooky details like old school board games, dog bowls and treats at the entrance, and talking elevators. It’s different for sure, but it felt kinda gimmicky to me. And once I got to the rooms, I understood why. They’re totally standard. Yes, perfectly comfortable and yes, clean but nothing special. Certainly not like the lobby or the bar. And maybe that’s why the common areas are what they are: The hotel needs a hook to get as many guests into the place as it does since the rooms are so ‘whatever’. Bottom line: Take it or leave it for what it is: A standard hotel with a bit of sparkle at the front.

This hotel is incredibly diverse and is designed flawlessly. Each floor has its own unique theme, and the elevator has a different-styled greeting to match the respective floors theme. We were on the classic music floor and were greeted by Elvis and The Beatles intro and exit music. The lobby is a contemporary art lovers dream. Frankly the only issue we found was that the actual room was a little small. We didn't spend much time there so it wasn't an issue. We would happily stay there again.

I loved the decor! The wall colors, artwork and furnishings made The Curtis an interesting and fun place to stay. This was one of the better Hilton hotels I've stayed at and was a very cool boutique hotel.

Plus, it's hard to say "no" to Hilton Doubletree chocolate chip cookies at check-in. Warm and gooey. They gave us two each. Yum!

Recommended for business and casual travelers alike.

You’ll either be charmed or annoyed by the Curtis – personally, I was charmed. The hotel is decked out in retro-pop décor and references: each floor has a different theme—“Champions”, “Chick Flick,” “Sci Fi”, etc.—and is decorated accordingly, including framed old-time magazine covers and a different movie clip announcing each elevator stop; I think heard Marilyn Monroe on one floor, and something from the “Shining” on another. The lobby has a stash of old-school board games for guests to rent, and there’s a “Lemonade Stand” in the lobby on some days (with “adult lemonade” available, of course.) I’m not a dog-owner, but apparently the Curtis is well-known for being one of the few upscale hotels that accepts pets. I love the location—a half-block from the Denver Center Theater Complex, and an easy walk or shuttle ride to some great downtown restaurants.
