If you want the largest Pa Dutch Smorgasbord, definitely go here! The basement of the building houses a large, gift store with a variety of items, including many wooden items made in Lancaster county.

We bought food from their super market and the meat was incredible. We tried calling to see if they deliver and unfortunately they dont so we are going to have to drive 3 hours to shop and get our meat

There's nothing special here when it comes to the food. I know a few people that work here and after the stories I have eaten anything pre made from here

The largest smorgasbord in the county has something for everyone. Yes, it is possible to eat healthy here - everything is made fresh with lots of local ingredients. However, the sheer volume of food is very impressive. Very reasonable and the tip is included.

To reach the Shady Maple Smorgasbord, we drove through the green rolling hills of Lancaster County, passing small horse drawn buggies on the road. We found ourselves in the middle of small Amish family farms and cornfields. The Shady Maple appears strangely out of place in this scene. It is a huge building containing an all you can eat buffet and a seemingly endless gift shop. The Amish staff was extremely welcoming and easily accommodated our large party of 8. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet in a “traditional Pennsylvania Dutch style”, including the build your own omelet station, the pancake/waffle station (specifically the fresh blueberry pancakes), and the pre-prepared food areas. The buffet also provided some interesting people watching, as tourists mixed with local Amish families. The gift shop downstairs contains everything from hand-made wooden furniture (beautiful, but expensive), blankets (same, beautiful but expensive), and glassware, to locally produced canned and packaged food, to knick-knacks and children’s toys. I purchased giant pretzel baking mix from a pretzel company nearby in Pennsylvania. Personally, I found the drive through Lancaster county to be even more enjoyable than the Shady Maple itself, but if in the area, it is definitely worth stopping by for a meal! There is also a nearby farmers market, but we did not have time to stop, unfortunately.
