What a wonderful place to take the kids or grandkids. Pay for a day or get an annual membership. In door and out door activities. You can take in your lunch and there are a few picnic tables outside. An area to play store, doctor, dig in the sand for bones or help in the garden.

If you want a hand's on experience with the kids, this place is great. We used to visit it often, but now my kids are teenagers and all they do is on their laptops or phones.

AMAZING, small but revolutionary children's museum that aims to inspire exploration, imagination, and experimentation! Fantastic for pre-K to middle elementary years. There's revolving exhibits every couple months around different cultures and nature features, special free workshops frequently, daily crafts, story time, a relationship with KPBS, etc. Check out the website to see what's going on. Sign up for birthday parties, rent out the entire venue, field trips, mobile museum, etc. Extremely affordable! A lot of updates all around the museum right now. Outdoor Art Studio is up and running with Afternoon Artists classes being offered.

This is such a great museum for kids. But I think it's a geared more two younger children such as toddlers. Love the garden area.

Safe and entertaining place to take your little ones to play with all sorts of interesting toys. If you live in Escondido it is worth it to buy a membership and take the kids here often to play. I think it is best for children that are at least a year old to maybe 6 years old.

I take my kids here all the time. I purchase a family membership and it is well worth the money. They are all Eco-friendly. They offer a small assortment of healthy snacks or you can pack your own. It is all enclosed so children can run free! It has an inside portion which is peanut free zone for anyone worried about allergies. It has an outside portion that is constantly changing but for the better. They have their own garden and chicken coop now too! Anyone with littles , this is a great place to go

Could spot if you want to go sit back relax and read a book and let the kids let loose it's fairly inexpensive and they have indoor activities lots and lots of indoor activities jungle gym arts and crafts and they had outdoor play area for the kids as well strictly across the street from the great day park and it's fairly and I'm looking for what it is it's like five or six bucks per kid to get in for all day

Kids free in October!! EDIT: My child was 4 when I took him and he was over it within minutes. Most suitable for the younger tots. Perhaps a good place to meet up with other kiddos.
