Mel's Diner

I highly recommend this diner to anyone in the Fort Myers area. The food is homecooked. Servers are very attentive. Food hot Drinks cold. The price of the food is very reasonable of those of us with shallower pockets. Portions are good. They have a full bar beer and wine. Many choices for dessert too. I recommend their signature Mile High pies. Delicious! I will return there.

Mel's is 5 stars for what it is...a take-off on a 50's diner, with really good food and GREAT prices. Specials all the time including Prime Rib. Small glasses of wine for $2.50. A fun place, very friendly, quite popular, and a good deal. Part of a 5 restaurant chain only....not part of larger chains called Mel's. About 10 minutes from the house on Cleveland/41.

Great diner, comfort food

Mir kam es vor, als würde ich in die Filmgeschichte der 1960er Jahre eintauchen: Alte Jukebox, rote Sitze, schwarz-weiß gekachelter Boden und dazu überall Bilder aus den 50er und 60er Jahren. Das Essen ist sehr lecker! Von einem wirklich üppigen und gut gefüllten Salatteller bis zum Hausgemachten Burger schmeckt alles gut. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und immer bemüht, auch Sonderwünsche zu erfüllen.
