Great Place for shopping, dinning, catching a move, lounging. Too much to list here, but its a great place for families, plenty of running room for kids. Don't forget to ride their trolley !

The Americana is conveniently across the Glendale galleria. There are high end stores mainly but there is a forever 21 and H&M. The fountains are beautiful and you can sit on the grass as you enjoy a meal at one of the food kiosks.

Americana is nice way to get out!! You can shop, eat, watch a movie at the theatre or on the lawn and even get your exercise in by walking around. Usually always something happening there and if you want to eat there are plenty of restaurants up and down Brand to choose from...

The Americana and Galleria are within close proximity of each other, but the difference is large in terms of store selection. The Americana is a lovely outdoor mall with a trendier, upscale vibe. Tons of great stores, little cafes, and restaurants. Be sure to check out the beautiful fountain in the middle, where locals and tourists alike lounge around enjoying the Los Angeles weather year-round.

This is one of nicer mall in L.A. Most of the shop are mid to near luxury brands. It got a nice water fountain and great venue to host events there. The parking structure elevator is very nice. Don't use stair, it will lead you to back alley far away from the shops. Shops here is mostly franchise though,

It's the Grove of the east, but it's got it's own charm and glamour. In the day it's a nice garden and outdoor shopping area. At night it comes to life with lights. It's amazing place to hang out and watch the dancing fountain and take in the bustle with a coffee. They have everything from Nordstrom to Apple and also a indoor mall with the essentials across the street. Bourbon Steak, Din Tai Fung and Cheesecake factory is here as well. Love this spot.

The Americana is like the Grove's lesser known Step child...

It has smaller & much lesser shops than the Grove..

There's places for kids to play at but other than that there's not many shops to go to.

Overall, it's just A-Okay..

So you want to find the high end place to spend a ton of cash that you can get for cheaper elsewhere, but just have to have that tilted up nose style ambiance? Well this is the place to go.

They have some tooten and falooten high end shops and restaurants and definitely the snooty factor. Want to show off how well to do you are in the eastern end of the SGV, just tell someone you live at the Americana. Lets go grub, so long as its at the Americana, where we can pay a premium to park and grub I am so DOWN! And I am not just talken about my bank account!

Pro Tip: Park at the Glendale Galleria across the street and you park for free, and don’t have to worry about pesky little things like validations…

This place reminds me of Fashion Island in OC, the Grove in LA, and seriously, Who doesn’t want to see how the other half lives… At Christmas they have a giant Christmas tree, they always have a train or tram that goes around the property, regardless of the fact that to walk the loop is about the same as walking a ¼ mile at on a high school track… Don’t forget to be pretentious cocky and snooty while here though. A lot of others will be the same and common courtesies are trounced upon.

I unfortunately have been here more times than I want to begin to remember. I was disappointed by most of the shops and restaurants, not to say that they are bad, it just doesn’t seem that they are as good as elsewhere or worth the premiums that are paid to be here. Enjoy it if you go, I just doubt you will find me here, unless I have no choice in the matter…

This is a small, but trendy outdoor mall in Glendale that has a few upscale stores and a Pacific muti-screen movie theater. It also has an apt complex built in and a wonderful fountain and lawn for the kids to watch and play. The Nordstrom here is lacking in great choices though.

My disdain for traditional malls is matched only for my love of outdoor malls. By combining the convenience of gathering all the major shopping chains with the tranquility of a park, several sit-down dining options and a movie theater you've created a one-stop destination for any busy professional.

This location is far superior to its sister The Grove, which attracts more tourists and Hollywood scenesters. Yuck. And if you can't find the store you're looking for, you can always cross the street and hit the Glendale Galleria. Happy shopping!

They have almost every type of department store including Bloomingdales and Nordstrom. 90min free parking in the structure or park at the mall and walk across the street to the Americana. Great mall to walk around, it is just like the Grove which alot of movie stars hang around and film the show Extra but this place is alot less crowded. There are alot of shops and you can walk across the street to the mall if you want something indoors.

Great place to check out if you're looking to kill time walk around, eat, snack, etc.

The shops aren't high end and the H&M and Forever 21 are big.

Cheesecake Factory is a popular spot here.

The Bellagio-like fountains put on a show every 30 mins (?).

Parking is easy peezy, no matter where you park in the lot the walk to the plaza is quick.

Make sure to ask business if they validate and remember to pay at the machines before getting to your car.

Though it may seem a little too commercialized, The Americana is actually a really nice place to walk around if you can get there during non-peak hours. There's a beautiful lawn surrounding a fountain (the water is synchronized to dance around to the beat of whatever music is playing), and a cute little trolley makes it's way around the center of the outside mall. There's a great mix of luxury and affordable stores here, and the movie theater is big and always plays the latest blockbusters. If you're here at night, it's especially pretty. But when you come to the Americana during the weekend, it can be a nightmare. Just plan out your trip and park at the Galleria for free parking.

This place reminds me of The Grove on 3rd Street. It's an outdoor mall, it has a water fountain in the middle and a trolley that goes around the property. There's a movie theater, several great restaurants and a variety of shops. A great place for the family!

Pretty much the coolest outdoor mall ever. Great restaurants and great shopping surround a tiny park, and every hour the fountain puts on a little show for everyone set to music.

If you go here and you're not jealous of the people living in the condos above the plaza, then I don't understand what you're doing in Los Angeles.
