Greater San Diego Vacations

Greater San Diego encompasses a huge swatch of the southernmost tip of California, spreading far into the deserts and mountains outside of the city proper. With a warm climate, it’s almost never a bad day as bicyclists and surfers ply the beach and downtown San Diego bustles with industry, skyscrapers and students. The San Diego Zoo and Escondido's ... Safari Park are some of the world’s best examples of animals roaming (semi-) free, while Sea World houses the most famous cetacean ever, Shamu. The high-end community of La Jolla offers harbor seals and luxury shopping. Point Loma offers open waters perfect for whale watching, and further up north are Legoland and the Flower Fields at Carlsbad. Within a day’s travel are the Carrizo badlands (a forbidding desert where mastodons once roamed), the country mountain town of Julian (popular for apple picking and cider tasting in the fall, and - gasp! - snow in the winter), and the wild backcountry of Palomar Mountain and the Cleveland National Forest. Wineries dot the northern and eastern regions, craft beer and breweries abound in North County, and wild border town Tijuana is a short drive south.

Great getaway, awesome Tex-mex food and lovely weather. Shopping was ideal and public trans/trolley very convenient.

Home to suburbs, beach front, biotech enterprises, the navy and marvelous weather yet it still feels artificial - like a six year old pretending to be an adult.

Greater San Diego is a collection of Old world of Spanish expansion. Great Mexican food to try at many different restaurants. Along with great historical sites and other attraction to visit. Disability access and Disability Parking is limited in some activities.

When it comes to beach towns, San Diego is hard to beat. Its big, but laid back, with amazing beaches dotted with surfers, incredible fish tacos and a broad selection of bars and restaurants for every taste. There are also a number of cool attractions - from the world renowned San Diego zoo to the USS Midway Museum.

San Diego is a very big city with beautiful beaches, a lot of great, ethnic and fusion restaurants, and beautiful people you'd think many are models. Hotels can be expensive if you want to stay by the beach. Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Del Mar, Solana Beach and Ocean Beach are some of the San Diego beaches that you must visit. Be adventurist and try a lot of interesting restaurants. Also, visit the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, LEGOLAND California and Safari Park!

From the San Diego Zoo to the USS Midway Museum and the Gas Lamp District, there's a lot to love about San Diego. Don't forget to grab lunch at Lucha Libre Taco Shop which is wrestling themed!

Home of sun, sand, and surf. What more could you want? San Diego is one of the most beautiful cities in America, plus it has every climate and terrain you could hope for, in case, you know, you get bored of the constant sunshine.
