You must see this place at least once. You can even go swimming in the caves though it is very cold.

My only complaint is that I was expecting it to be a longer tour, but the cave was beautiful! I've never seen anything like it before. The water was a vestigial blue color, and if I go back one day I'd like to see the Fantasy Cave.

Discovered by our ancestors.... In 1907, two young teenagers named Carl Gibbons and Edgar Hollis were engaged in a spirited game of cricket. One of the lads struck the ball with ferocity and it disappeared into a hole several yards away. This ball was a prized possession and no effort was spared at attempting to retrieve it. As one of the boys crawled down deeper and deeper, it became apparent that this was not your ordinary hole. What the boys had discovered was, in fact, the entrance to a spectacular natural wonder. A must see as you discover Bermuda's oldest living treasure. A remarkable natural beauty this exquisite fantasy world that Mother Nature began over 30 million years ago.

Beautiful caves that are worth the trip if you a) don't mind a million stairs and b) are not claustrophobic. Several people in our group were not comfortable and turned around. They were issued refunds without a hassel. The caves are amazing.

A fun trip, especially with kids. The only drawback is that there is only one way in and out. you must wait for one group to exit back out before you can enter. At times the wait can be long. I suggest doing the cav4es first thing in the moening before all the tour buses arrive. Then you can go to nearby Bailey's for ice cream or take the bus to Flatts for the nice zoo/aquarium.
