fail-safe contingency plan. In this 387,000-square-foot complex you’ll get over 75 retail shops and restaurants, nightclubs, and a bowling alley all seasoned with the glamour of Hollywood. In fact, this is where you’ll find Grauman's Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood and Highland Center Theatre, where the Academy Awards is held. No matter what you (or your better half) are in the mood for, chances are you’ll be able to quell that pesky boredom here.

There is a hit with our friends here, while we can enjoy the Hollywood movies and shopping. You can see many tourists from China and India around.

Great views of the Hollywood sign! I recommend you take the train here cause traffic and pedestrians are everywhere! Make sure to visit the stairs that make the piano sound too!

Looking to do a little sightseeing around Hollywood? Well you should probably pay Hollywood & Highland a little visit. It's one of the Metro Red line stops so if you're taking the Metro in, you won't have to pay for parking. Parking is validated at a discount if you dine at a restaurant or take in a movie. The Chinese theater is just a few steps away, as is Madame Tussaud's. Check out the famous cement footprints of your favorite stars. The Dolby Theatre, where the Academy Awards are held each year, is also here. This center is also part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame with stars like Mickey Mouse, Robin Williams, and Michael Jackson on the sidewalk. There's a great view of the Hollywood sign behind the California Pizza Kitchen so don't miss that. There's plenty to see and experience here. There are impersonators that you can take a photo with, just be mindful of the crowds. Jimmy Kimmel Live films across the street too. There is a lot you can do and see at Hollywood & Highland, not just shop.

This is a very touristy destination and not even the local in mind. There is a parking structure where you can get validated at the visitor's center. They moved that up from the first floor to the second floor. Once you get validated, you still have to pay $2 for the first hour. Isn't that a rip off? What if you don't know to get validated or where to get validation? It shouldn't even be called validation, just call it reduced rate. If you don't get validation, you're paying full price. When you go see a movie at the TCL Chinese 6, you get up to 4 hours validation. Then repeat what I just said above about validation. Does anybody actually go into these stores to buy things or just look? At least there are other restaurants to try in here.

This is a mall with a few stores and a lot of various restaurants. It's also where the Dolby Theater would be, and the Chinese Theater is essentially right here, too. You can find great views of the Hollywood sign from here.

This place is usually crowded because of the tourism. Other than that it's a great shopping center with a nice variety of stores and eating spots.

The look of the mall is pretty cool. But there is always so much traffic to drive her and to walk there because it's a tourist spot. They don't have that many stores and the one's they do have are smaller then in other places. They do have some cool restaurants on the 4th floor and throughout the mall.

Lots of parking if you don't feel like walking or have alot to carry. Walk of Fame is here. Lot of shopping, restaurants, souvenirs, movies, metro/subway station. Easy to walk here from apartment. Indoor shopping. Lots of restaurants. Enter parking on Highland Ave. right after Loews Hotel.

Hollywood and Highland is a great place for both tourist and locals. It's got everything you can ask for in one spot. Which means you can plan a date night or for people staying in hotels nearby they don't have to travel far to have fun-You can watch a show, a movie, grab dinner, shop even catch a free jazz concert Tuesday's in the summer. I never miss a summer concert always a great band!

Hollywood and Highland - a "mall" unlike other malls. Smack in the heart of Hollywood sits a Mecca of entertainment. Shops, restaurants, nightclubs - H&H is #LivinLarge! It is also the home of the Academy Award's Dolby Theater! Where Hollywood's elite gather to celebrate their cinematic accomplishments! #Hollywood #LosAngeles

The outdoor shopping center at Hollywood and Highland is home to many of your favorite retailers and restaurants. Highlights include; Dave and Buster's, Johnny Rockets and Cabo Wabo Cantina. There is plenty of parking in the structure located behind the center and is accessible on Hollywood Blvd.
