My husband and I visited here and we had a total blast. There was so much to see. We had never been to a wax museum so this was a treat. The figures are so life like. You save money by purchasing online on the website. Madame Tussaud's does have its own parking garage offering valet parking at $15 but we self parked off of Hollywood and Highland Center and paid $1 per 15 minutes (maximum of $15). We stayed 2 hours which was $8. You actually could park here and do the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Grauman's Chinese Theater, other attractions, and shopping.

Had a great time at Madame Tussaud's Hollywood. Went on a weekend and it was not too crowded. Majority of the figures looked close to the real person.

My first time at a wax museum. It could be a little pricey for some but sometimes you just have to go for it and in the end I had a great time!

They have a great selection of extremely life-like statues and It's fun that you can take a picture with all of them. However, it's a bit overpriced.

Good place to go see and take pictures with life-like replicas of your favorite celebrities. Go on the weekdays to have the place for cheap and mostly to yourself. Must do if you're in Hollywood.

If you are really star struck, this is your place. If you're not, don't bother. When Madame Tussauds first started the figures were amazing, given the technology that existed at the time. Today seeing lookalikes of famous people just isn't that big of a deal. I do object to how they emasculated one side of the Chinese Theater to put in Madame Tussauds and a Starbucks.

I got waxed! And, it was fantastic!

The second Madame Tussauds that I've been to, the other being Vegas, I acted like an attention-loving Kardashian, taking pic after pic with each detailed, well-crafted wax figue.

You can touch them, too! Some even have nearby props for embellishment. A few figures don't resemble their real life counterparts much, but most are uncanny doppelgangers. Multiple floors have celebrities of all sorts - pop icons, sports icons, western, old Hollywood, modern classic, superheroes etc. Brad Pitt, Marlon Brando, Wolverine, One Direction, Kobe Bryant, Audrey Hepburn, you name it, there's probably a figure there or in the works. Everyone will find someone they admire.

Besides the wax figures, visitors can enjoy the Marvel Superheroes 4D Experience. Think "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" at Disneyland or "Shrek 4D" at Universal Studios. The short animated film is quite fun, with the best part being the unforeseen "spinal tap" with Doc Ock.

As a souvenir, visitors can pay to have their hands dipped in wax. Personally, I was content with the multitude pics I took for posterity's sake.

Madame Tussauds has their own valet parking, with another option being at the Hollywood & Highland Center.

Fun times, great memories - if you haven't been to a Madame Tussauds ever in your life, I highly recommend you remedy that situation. For kids & for those looking to act like kids again, Madame Tussauds is an absolute blast & a great way to entertain the family.

This is the first time I had ever been in a wax museum, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I wasn't disappointed...except maybe in the fact that the lighting wasn't the greatest, so some of the pictures we took turned out blurry. There are no ropes to keep you away from the wax figures, and they actually encourage you to touch and interact with the figures...just don't touch the face or hair. You can sit and chat with Jack Nicholson on your way in, put yourself into Grease or Dirty Dancing, sit on the Captain's Chair on the Starship Enterprise, or pedal away on your bike with ET, among several other movies and figures that you can interact with throughout the three floors of the museum. We had a buy one get one coupon, which made this place more affordable.

Neat wax museum! Love how they have it so you can pose with everyone. They have a lot of interactive things, props to dress up with.. A bit pricy but fun experience.

I've lived in New York, London and Los Angeles and I've always avoided the Madame Tussauds as I thought they were corny, but I recently had the opportunity to check out Madame Tussauds in Hollywood and boy was I wrong. The accuracy of the wax figures can be hit or miss, but when they're on, they're unbelievably realistic. What makes Madame Tussauds so fun, is that you can take pictures with your favorite movie stars, often with props that they provide. It's like a photo booth on steroids. It's fun for the whole family!

Madame Tussauds has been on my list of things to do in LA for quite some time. Earlier this month I got an opportunity to finally check it out with some friends and had a blast.

The wax museum is huge with multiple levels displaying wax celebrity figures. They put the current famous celebs and then there are the legends. I saw Taylor Swift, George Clooney, One D, Justin Timberlake, Will Smith, Jackie Chan, Obama, Audrey Hepburn and a lot more. All of them were done so well that I had to do a double take! They even had a paparazzi wax figure! A few of us even striked a pose and then realizing it's a wax figure! :D

I recommend it to anyone visiting LA or even if you live in LA you should check it out. So much fun! Don't forget to hit up the hand wax station for a souvenir!

Parking: Hollywood and Highland structure or the lot next to it. They valet for $10

Came here for an event thursday.

Parking. This is Hollywood. Parking is tough. Use caution when using street parking.

Checkin was pretty easy

IMO, the wax statues did not resemble the actors. Or was it just me?

Three floors combined with food/drink vendors.
My friend had to have her picture with Harry and 1 direction
I took a picture with Taylor swift. Yeah.

Not sure of the cost but stood in a line for a wax of my hand
Sweet

Would I go back? Probably not
But crossed off my la tourist list

Here is the short history.
- Madame Tussauds Wax Museum s origin from London who was a major tourist attraction in there. Eventually it expands to across the globe have total of 17 locations. Each location had wax statue based on the local celeb and some more well know international like Lady Gaga which has wax sculpture in every Tussauds Museum.

Here is some Pros and Cons.

Pros:
+ Great location right next to the Chinese Theater.
+ So Many Wax Sculpture
+ Each Tussauds has its own Architectural theme similar to Fry's
+ Photo allow with FLASH too
+ Can get up really close unlike Hollywood Wax Museum
+ The wax sculpture look more reliastic and updated all the time unlike the Hollywood Wax Museum
+ Definite worth the admission price.
+ Even if you had when to other Madame Tussaud location still should visit one since you would find a lot different sculpture and often not an exatly same looking one they change the clothing etc...
+They also got some classic Wax Sculpture like the God Father and Star Treks not just the current one.
+ Some Sculpture have nice match background music and theme.

Cons:
- Despite pools of wax sculpture, you might not see everyone you would like.
- Some sculpture needed to be updated or replace, eventually the massive camera flash toward at their face would cause the pain tore down a bit.

(MUST SEE SCULPTURE)
* Lady Lady one - Amazing make up and great art work put in to the display
* Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie was very well detail evens have Jolie Tatto.
* The Oscar room full of star who had won Oscar before amazing artwork all of them like Morgan Freeman.
* IRON MAN - both model of Tony Stark one with the Suit ! with match music and cool background
* Michael Jackson - MJ fan out there will not be disappointing it was so well made, with match customs.
* God Father - this one even had the signature table you could take photo in this one, practice your bargain skill with the God Father.
* Stark Trek - Captain James T. Kirk and Jean with the empty Captain chair for you to seat take charge of the enterprise.
* President Obama - Look well and chance you can actually take picture of him in real life is close to none unless you will to paid 50+K for the campaign dinner.

Tips:
* You can get half off admission price via Groupon not always but keep checking
* two way to get free parking nearby (1 is via Kodak Theater toward validation with purchased of the vendor there that would gave you four hours, or if you use L.A fitness which could gave you two hours might be enough depend.
* Bring your camera and camcorder, you would had the good time might as record it too :)

Conclusion:
This is basically must visit museum if you never been there before, unless you do not watch movies or listen to music will be very few peoples. There are so many sculptures in there that is hard to count. They keep added new sculpture i think Justin Bieber was last year, i presume PSY would get it this year or very near future. Do not bother go to the wax museum which a block a way is waste of money there, you get far more things to see here. You can easily spend one 1/2 to 2+ hours here.
