This awesome, little museum is free. You can walk down their path to see sandhill cranes, get to Two Sisters and Old Town, or walk on the path all the way to the beach.

This free museum has exhibits about the natural and human settlement of this part of the Kenai Peninsula. Lots about birds and other sea animals. They run a couple free films as well.

This free museum and visitors center is a great place spend a couple hours if you're interested in learning about marine wildlife and ecology of the surrounding Kachemak Bay and nearby Aleutian Islands. The exhibits are modern and well organized and the staff of volunteers are always excited to answer your questions. There are also several short trails onsite that are family friendly and perfect for spotting shore birds.
