restaurant, and she doesn't have time to teach everyone how to do everything every day. If someone isn't doing something right, she follows behind giving orders and corrections. This is nothing new. She's operated like this since the beginning. "She was a tyrant," remembers her 28-year-old son, Dimitrios Fetokakis. She fired him almost every day (until he bought the place).

Niko Niko’s is a Houston tradition that’s about as old as I am, so I find it hard to believe it took until 2013 for the Greek family restaurant on Montrose to expand to a second location, a stand in “Market Square” in the middle of downtown. Hopefully, it’s not franchised yet, but, for some reason, you can also get Niko Niko’s food out of an HEB in Pearland, a satellite city south of Houston. If you mistake this for a Middle Eastern restaurant, you’re not the only one: Pita bread, hummus, and falafel are mainstays of this always-packed institution.

Very good but VERY pricey for what you get. Be ready to spend a solid 20 if your looking to get full and a true Greek food experience in a not so classy at all type place. For the money the ambience is very sub-par and chainey.

As seen on Diners Drive-ins and Dives! Great food..get the Greek honey balls for dessert-you won't regret it!

I'm a huge fan of Mediterranean food, therefore, I love Niko Niko's. They have a great menu, offering a nice variety of authentic Greek Food.

I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite from their menu, as everything I've had there has been great. As far as dessert goes, the honey balls win with me. You can never go wrong with one of their famous gyros.

The only drawback is that sometimes parking can be limited, but if you know what you're in for, it's worth it.

This place has delicious food and a great atmosphere. The people are very helpful and the food is out quickly. This place usually gets packed pretty quick on the weekends, so I would recommend going for lunch on the weekdays if possible. It is not as busy during those hours. Also, they have a bunch of free parking, which in that area is scarce.

Love the greek food here!! This is where I realized how delicious Mediterranean food is and became addicted to tzatziki. The lemon potatoes and french fries are super delish. Sadly I have not been able to find that at any other Greek restaurant.

Niko Niko is a great Greek restaurant known for the great service and food. While Marvin Zindler, a well known newscaster for restaurants, was alive, many of his awards were given to them.

Niko Niko has great Greek salad and baked potatoes and the seafood platter is my favorite. You get a taste of everything here. I LOVE IT.

Prices are a bit high than before but this place is spacious and has plenty of parking which is rare for Montrose.
