Beautiful, stunning, amazing plays...until it rains. Traveled a great distance, paid for hotels, little ones got excited, paid for babysitting while there. And it rained. Cancelled before it began, with promises over the loud speakers of refunds. Waited and waited, checked my visa account. Seven weeks later I called them and asked where's the refund for the six tickets. Was told we were welcome to come back and use them...We live three states away, already paid through the nose and school has begun. Told the office I just want the refund promised on my ticket and over the loud speaker while there. I was then informed that it only applied to those who purchased "ticket protection", something in over a decade of going that I've never heard of, NOR is there any mention of that clause on my ticket that promises "refund for the value of my ticket" if we're unable to come back. I even asked if we could apply the balance to next season, but was told no. I'm really, really ticked. I realize they have no control over the weather, but to keep our money and send us off with the deception that there would be a refund is just wrong, and dishonest, and a great way to get everyone out quickly. Shame on you Tuacahn!!

Think of this outdoor venue as Red Rocks light. It's a small concert amphitheater that's out in the wilds of nature in St. George, Utah. The natural red rocks provide a stunning backdrop and the seating is comfortable. There's a huge and convenient surface parking lot (parking is free!) and it's easy to get in and out after the show.

There are a few major negatives, however. I was at a Weird Al show here and the employees acted like they never had done bag searches before. The concert was delayed because they were so slow. The line to get in stretched back and around and took forever. Plus, security was virtually nonexistent. When I went out to use the restroom, they checked my ticket but it was super easy to come back in without having to go through additional checks.

The restrooms are super inconvenient too, all the way up and outside the security tables and entrance. Same situation for the snack bar.

The sound quality is very good and the sight lines are terrific, so I'm rating this an a-ok place to see a live concert.

A beautiful place to visit. The canyon location is a beautiful drive and the off-Broadway plays are professional.

Concerts and shows including Broadway in the Desert. Disney's The Little Mermaid to be one of the plays. Disney only allows certain venues to perform their productions. last year Disney's Tarzan performed at Tuacahn was the only off Broadway production allowed by Disney. All shows are amazing.

Unique amphitheater setting in the beautiful Red Rock Mountains of
Snow Canyon. Many events on a seasonal basis with actors and set
design that are well know in the area. Music events are also very
timely with stars that are famous. Season tickets are available and
also there is a Saturday flea market that is held year-round.

This is the most gorgeous outdoor amphitheatre I've ever seen. Love the beautiful warm wheather and outdoor setting. Tuacahn normally will hold three Broadway shows each year along with other concerts, comedians and other performing arts. One of my favorites so far was actually not a Broadway, Disney's Mulan that was performed at the indoor location in 2013 was adorable. We've loved them all!

Tuacahn Theater is a wonderful venue for Broadway Musicals, events, concerts and comedy acts. I have been to several shows and have tickets for the Brian Reagan comedy act in May. Can't wait love this venue.

"Tuacahn" comes from a Mayan word meaning "Canyon of the Gods." Built in the shadow of 1500-foot spectacular red rock cliffs,The Tuacahn Theatre brings "Broadway in the Desert" to southern Utah! Throughout the warm months, this theatre company features Utah's finest actors (new and seasoned), in some of Broadway's greatest productions! The intimate, outdoor theatre is always enhanced by the brilliant, natural redrock backdrop. A night out at Tuacahn is a night not soon forgotten!
