fascinating local markets with the make shift stalls, unique local food, characters and brick a brat things to buy. needed more time here best to allow at least 4 hrs to get started as there is a lot to cover
A great selection of food stalls and a great city vibe! Be wary of the crowds though - you may have to queue for your favourite foods, and it tends to be on the pricey side. Once you've filled yoru belly head upstairs to grab a few drinks at the bar!
The Neighbourgoods market is a great place to go if you love food. There are stalls upon stalls offering food that ranges from French crepes to Mexican tacos. Go if you have time, but it should be noted that is not the cheapest place to eat and it has a tendency to become very crowded.
The highlight of our visit to Jozi. Open only on Saturdays. This pop-up food and crafts market is a great example of Johannesburg's potential to be a successful integrated city. Nice to leave the walls, barbed wire, and segregated living behind to find a relaxed place where everyone seems to be at home.
