Kansas Vacations

Silver spurs and dusty roads connected during the Wild West era in Kansas. At the close of the Civil War, both veterans and newly freed slaves found themselves migrating to this pastoral land located in the grand central plain of the United States. renowned gunslinger, had a post at Fort Riley. Nearby, Dodge City would earn its reputation for being one of the most tumultuous cities of the time, a place that helped raise the name of Wyatt Earp to mythological proportions. From the Missouri River to the gentle hills and forests, Kansas is also a beautiful place. Passing through the towns, it’s almost impossible not to dig a fork into some truly American pies or sweet and smoky Kansas barbecue, a big step up from the whiskey and tuberculosis from the days of Wild Bill.

Fahrenheit (low 30s Celsius), while winters get very cold, with most of the snow falling in the northwest. Spring and early summer are much like Dorothy’s Kansas in the Wizard of Oz: the state averages 50 tornadoes every year. Other types of severe weather can hit the state as well, including thunderstorms and hail. Perhaps the best time to visit Kansas is in the autumn (September and October) when temperatures are still warm and Kansas City is alive with fall festivals.

Kansas a great state to see the prairie of the flint hills and wonderful to watch the Flint Hills fires in the spring. The museums is awesome state wide. Festal is awesome in the Spring, summer and fall. The building are awesome to see. The history of the past is strong in Kansas. Where the eagle fly free and the Buffaloes run strong in the fields and the rocks fences along the roads . The flowers grows to show off the state. Great and awesome churches.
