Misty Fjords National Monument is a highly protected wilderness area within the Tongass National Forest and located outside Ketchikan. This wilderness area is a stunning and pristine example of protected old-growth temperate rainforest. There are endless glacially carved inlets and bays aptly named Punchbowl Cove and God's Pocket, amongst others, that are great for kayak exploration. Private boats and flight seeing trips can be arranged from Ketchikan.
