Description
With 140 trails and the world's most extreme snow-making equipment, Killington is one of the best known ski resorts on the East Coast. Just three hours from Boston or New York City on a good day, ... Read more
Killington attracts well over 15,000 skiers and snowboarders on peak days. Lift lines move quickly and the mountain is ginormous, so it's hard to tell you're in a crowd. Killington has one of the most fun-loving après-ski scenes, as well. While there's no quaint village or alpine-themed town, a line of rowdy bars, elegant restaurants and kickin' live music round out a long day on the slopes.

Best skiing in the East with plenty of snow making when mother nature doesn't cooperate. They have everything from beginners slopes to double black diamonds. Also they have become a year round destination for mountain bikers and families with their Adventure Center.

Killington is known as the "Beast Of The East" for a reason and is why we call it home. They do everything as good if not better than any other resort. They have the longest ski season and their mountain biking is second to none.

Everyone knows that Killington is a great ski destination, but it has so much more to offer! During the winter months they offer snowmobile tours, Beast Mountain Coaster, Snowshoe tours, Tubing Park, Scenic Gondola Rides and much more.

In the Summer and Fall the Adventure Center is in full swing with activities for the whole family.

There many great festivals hosted by Killington, such as Killington Brewfest, Cooler in the Mountains Music Series, Killington Wine Festival, the Spartan Race and many more!

By the time northbound thru-hikers reach Vermont, they have more than proved their mettle on the trail. Many opt to stop at Killington Resort to treat themselves to the easiest and most enjoyable mountain accent they will encounter in the whole of the AT - a gondola ride up to the top of Killington Peak.

It's called the Beast of the East for a reason. Tons of runs for every ability level. Lodges are set up for families (Ramshead) and the party scene (Bear Mtn). Outer Limits is one of those runs you just need to ski.

You can walk to Snowshed Lodge to start your ski day but there is also a free bus shuttle during ski season that runs a continuous loop every 10-15 minutes

The slopes of Killington are a short drive from us. This ski area has it all, from beginner terrain to expert steeps and tress, fantastic nightlife, great dining and family fun too. In the summer enjoy lift-accessed mountain biking, golf, frisbee golf, hiking and picnicking.
