Venetian or Bellagio.Fremont is a very interesting casino in the sense that the rooms tend to be nicer than what you would expect (although not really nice in my opinion) and the casino is not as cheap as you think on most days. They lower their table minimums after 12 am and sometimes mid-afternoon. The area is cool at night I suppose since there's such a huge screen, but otherwise this place is extremely smoke filled, 80's and very, very old.I think the only draw is that they *used* to have a steak & lobster dinner for $8.99 after 12:00 am on week nights. I never partook on the lobster bit but the steak was alright. It's just you can really tell how outdated it is and without any outrageously low tables or deals I don't really see much reason to come visit unless you want some memoirs of 20 years past.

I'm personally a bigger fan of downtown Las Vegas than I am of the strip so this hotel is great for that. It's located right in the action of Old Vegas. You can see the Fremont experience light show, hang at the casino, and wander around the area. It's not the fanciest place, but it's comfortable and basic!

The Fremont Hotel and Casino is one of the many old school casinos up in downtown at the wild Fremont Experience.

Fremont is a great place for craps - low bet tables and plenty of drink girls going around!

Located on the Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas. Yet another classic piece of Las Vegas Old School. AS I have said before, if you want the world class five star resort experience go to the Las Vegas Strip, but if you want a taste of the Las Vegas of a bygone era, come Downtown. The Fremont Hotel Casino is a great example of that. Great deals on Food, Room and Gambling (Low table Limits) Always a great way to try out your sure fire system on craps, with little risk. Come at night for the full blown neon experience. Come on down and let loose. Live it up, you are in Las Vegas for cryin’ out loud!

I come here year after year with the family. I have stayed at this hotel, but it's really not the greatest. The beds were creaky and the bathroom sink was clogged. Gross!

On the other hand, it's actually a good place to learn how to gamble and play cards or table games. $5 minimums were common, except on busy weekend nights.

Good place for a cheap beer. $2 beer specials all day long at the casino floor bar!

I'm not a fan of the restaurants here that much (California Hotel offered better food), however I liked their banquet style food, decent and reasonably priced for large gatherings. Prime rib was the best thing on the buffet table!

Complimentary valet or self-parking available.
