If it weren't for the cool design and atmosphere, this would be another drab hotel, but the theme is awesome. The rooms are dated, but you won't be there too long anyway.

Very disappointed with this hotel.
Everything was going lovely brought my hubby here for his 40th birthday. When we checked in we had to pay another $30 per night apparently this was for pool & gym.usage. we didn't want to use the gym then 3 out of 4 pools was closed was still made to pay this extra.

Then came back from a helicopter trip to find the safe had been broken in $300 dollors had gone.

This made our evening ruined we had to have a security in our room to take a statement then a trip to the police station to do another the following day.

After numerous calls to reception to speak to the manager I didn't get one call back in the end I had to hold otherwise I would never speak to the manager who was called jack and would not give me his surname he never once apologised and was very rude and ebrubt. He agreed to clear two $30 follies that was it .

I have had an aching back from the beds both me and my husband got numerous electric shocks from pressing the button for the lift on the corridor.

If we wanted to use a pool we had to use mandley bay which I wasn't comfortable with, with what's just happened in there.

I'm planning to go back Vegas for my 40fh with friends I can be safely saying I won't be staying at the luxor.

Vegas it's self is a fantastic place

The Luxor is beautiful in one sense, but beaten up in another. Yes, the lights and sounds, and restaurants and shops are all very impressive, but the rest of it is very old and not well-maintained. The carpets are worn down and stained, the elevators doors are beaten and dented from the endless drunken tourists, and the rooms are on the cheaper side. Both ends of the spectrum considered, I'd give it three stars.

The Luxor hotel is a fun spot for families because of the Egyptian theme. There aren't very many food options but it's close to the Mandalay Bay and Delano which have more restaurants. The rooms are a bit old but it's cheap and you don't spend much time in the rooms anyway.

Luxor has been around awhile now but it's always a solid place to stay with affordable rates. Rooms are nice & clean and the whole pyramid layout of the hotel never gets old when you look out into the middle upon stepping out of your room.

The food court and the restaurants are decent and get the job done.

Great architecture, great interior. Connected to the monorail system along with Excalibar, and Mandalay Bay. It's large and open. The elevator goes at a 40 degree angel.

When you walk into this hotel it's like any other casino on the strip. I found a lot of the machines to be rather dirty. The rooms are very clean and the staff very nice.

I've stayed at the Luxor before and it was fine. A clean room inside the pyramid. It's a fun, themed environment. The hospitality is great here. The rooms are pretty standard. I do like the cool sphinx that shoots a beam of light into the air. Luxor offers some reasonably priced rooms for your buck. Just make sure you remember where you're sleeping.

Stayed here for a convention in 2008. Aside from the Luxor light, this hotels a bit dated now, unfortunately. A plus is that it's not TOO far of a walk from Hakkasan

They stole my ring from my room and the desk told me "Though, next time don't bring anything to steal. Never went back to them or Las Vegas. The Hookers were knocking on my door every night.

I absolutely love the Luxor. The rooms are affordable and nice. Staff is very nice to me. And if I want to party there are bars and clubs right down the elevator. It is one of my favorites:)

What is going on with this place? Chinese people avoid it like the plague because it's a tomb, but their special exhibits are all death related too...I think even Criss Angel is sort of a morbid magician too is he not? It's like doubling down or tripling down on death. It's a nonsensical business strategy unless it's trying to find the bottom so it has an excuse to get razed for a better casino in the future. The building itself is impressive nonetheless...

The Luxor isn't so bad - that is taking into consideration all the Yelp reviews I had to read after booking my stay.

I'm sure the pyramid was a unique feature to have on the strip, but now it seems a little out dated and needs some remodeling (both on the casino floor and in the rooms). The rooms are decent, the bathroom is clean, the air conditioning works. It's a decent room for a good price! You just have to keep in mind this isn't the Delano or Mandalay Bay.

Oh yeah, and if you haven't been in the elevators, it's completely a trip! Hang onto a railing. Apparently the elevator runs along the sides of the pyramid. So yes, it is at a slight slant.

I love using the valet when I'm in Vegas, and Luxor's is pretty darn quick. No need to hand your ticket to the staff anymore, just scan it on a machine and wait a few minutes for your car to arrive. The rooms, especially those in their Tower, are spacious and equipped with 2 separate closets. Housekeeping even phoned me to check if I would be needing their services since they saw the "do not disturb" sign on my door, and were attentive for my request to stop by after I left for the day. The best thing about this hotel is that it has both a tram and walkways to Mandalay Bay and Excalibur. Choices are always good to have, especially when the weather cools down. I've stayed here more than a few times, so the chances of coming back are very likely.

Look to the evening sky and you'll surely see the beam coming from the top of this shiny black pyramid shaped casino!

The Luxor is a bit long in the tooth, but if you're looking to stay on the Las Vegas strip than the Luxor is a definite candidate. The rooms are reasonable and let's be honest, you're not going to be spending that much time in your room are you? So check in, drop off your bags, and head out for some hedonism.

It was a great location and was able to hit up most any form of transport there so Vegas was almost at your doorstep. Though there were a few iffy moments (door had to be shoved lock) it all around a comfortable stay.

San Marcos, California, USA

The Luxor is usually a much cheaper place to stay than hotels of equal caliber that are farther down the strip. Overall, the Luxor is a nice place to stay with reasonable rates and amenities. There aren't as many stores, bars, or restaurants in the Luxor as in other hotels on the strip, but the Excalibur, New York New York, and the MGM are just a short walk away. This last stay, my room was a little broken down, but the beds were comfortable and you can't really beat the price.

I wasn't sure what to expect when staying at the Luxor. It's definitely one of the older hotels that hasnt been renovated recently but the room I was in was still pretty good. The most important thing was that the beds were comfy. The hotel itself isn't as large as others because it doesn't have as many restaurants and stuff inside of it but it does have the titanic exhibit and a little food court that is open almost 24 hours a day.

Great hotel. Loved the layout of the place. Easy to Navigate. Great Shows also. GREAT STAFF
