and doin it well here. The huevos motulenos are not your typical huevos rancheros brunch dish! I couldn’t stomach sauteed sweet bananas mixed in with peas and feta cheese, but once I removed the banana, the dish was delicious! Very down-to-earth crowd and vibe, a good respite from the glitz of The Strip.

I'm obsessed with EAT! It is only open for breakfast and lunch but you'll come back again and again!! The Huevos dish is the award winner here and with so many complex flavors like banana, peas, salsa, eggs you'll think it sounds bizarre but it's perfection!

Great small restaurant off the beaten path. The locals told us about this place. Each food item was served with Eye appeal and great taste.

Recently, American Express did a series of commercials called "Late Bloomers" featuring an inspirational story of a woman who battled her way back from losing everything to drug addiction to become an enormous success in the restaurant world. I had the pleasure of meeting Natalie Young, owner of the downtown Las Vegas brunch joint, "Eat" when I came in to check out the hotspot that has been showered with accolades and rave reviews, including being featured on Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown. Ms. Young's secret to her success appears to be that she keeps things simple with fresh, high-quality ingredients prepared from scratch. I ordered the chicken caesar salad and my husband had eggs and bacon. While several trendy restaurants try to reinvent the Caesar by adding heat, spice or God forbid kale (yes, kale), Eat's Caesar is familiarly delicious. The bright, creamy dressing and generous chunks of aged parmesan were able to shine on their own without any fuss. My husband's eggs, bacon, and breakfast potatoes were similarly uncomplicated, and just as tasty. Crisp bacon, fluffy eggs, and perfectly seasoned potatoes made for a hearty, satisfying breakfast. It was a hot day, so the sparkling strawberry lemonade was insanely refreshing (and quickly slurped down). I loved it so much I ordered a second one. In addition to the great food, I'm also happy to report that Eat hit a home rum with price and efficiency, too. Natalie Young may be labeled a latecomer when it comes to building a successful restaurant, but in my opinion, Eat is cooked to perfection!

You cannot skip the best restaurant in downtown Vegas - starters: deep fried deviled eggs ... Yes, they were so worth it.

Awesome place I never knew existed. My wife found it and boy were we happy. The food was excellent. It was packed full of locals, the food was awesome, and it had a cool atmosphere. Not in the closest spot to anyplace in old downtown Vegas, but we had a car. Probably wouldnt be too far a walk from Fremont either. Definitely wanna go back, prices were good. I had the hueveos motollenos, very tasty.
