casino, shopping, restaurants and a man-made volcano that erupts every hour in the evening? There is nothing more spectacular than watching lava spew from a 30-foot volcano or fireballs shoot 12 feet into the air. The best thing is that you can watch it from one of the beautiful rooms in the hotel if you choose to stay there.

The Mirage Volcano is a great free treat for those wanting to keep costs down while visiting Las Vegas. There are less eruptions than they used to be so bear that in mind if you are planning to go.
The Volcano is totally worth seeing though. The flames even warmed us up a bit as we watched the show. Sometimes the nights in Las Vegas can get a little chilly!

Boring and a major distraction on LV boulevard when driving! Its time for something new MGM! God knows your raking it in by rapeing us for parking to go spend our money in your casinos or rent an overpriced room and still pay resort fees on top of that! This property is showing its age!

Of course you can only see this show at night. It is OK but is getting dated. Need to be right up close to see the entire show.

If you are at the mirage, you have to check out the volcanos at the hotel. Such a great sight!

Shortly after dusk, feel the heat of the iconic volcano at the forefront of the Mirage’s water lagoon. The volcano erupts nightly with two shows Sunday through Thursday and three shows on Friday and Saturday nights. The enlightening music score sets the tone during the entire fire show. You’ll feel like you’re in Hawaii!

Much like the Bellagio water fountains, the Mirage volcano is one of the quintessential attractions that makes Vegas Vegas. It also happens to be one attraction that you can see for free. Add a few cheap drinks, some people-watching on Las Vegas Blvd. and you'll have yourself a pretty awesome (and cheap!) Sin City evening. The volcano eruption is quite an impressive sight, but the Mirage recently reduced the amount of eruptions it does each night. You can still see the volcano go off on weeknights at 7 and 8 p.m. and on the weekends they add a 9 p.m. show. If you are in the shutterbug mood after snapping some pics outside, go on in to the Mirage's expansive Polynesian greenhouse for some more photo keepsakes of your trip.

I caught a glance of the last explosion of the hourly show one night so I made a point of going back to see the entire thing and I was not disappointed.

A bit long in the tooth, the Volcano at the Mirage is still a popular photo destination for tourists. But watch your back, there be photobombers lurking!

If we compare with the others free show at the Casinos, this one is the worst one. Still a place to visit, and it is free, so enjoy.

Yes, you’re not wrong, it’s really a Volcano! But don’t be afraid, because it’s not dangerous! Mirage Hotel provides a unique performance, which begins in the evening after sunset. You can see how the volcano emits tons of boiling lava from its crater! This is a great experience which is not to be missed, because where else could you see such a fantastic show???

This is a fun and free attraction on the Las Vegas Strip. Children will be especially impressed, as it is impressive. They revamped this some years back, and it is definitely better than it used to be.

If you're in Las Vegas and trying to stay on a budget, I would recommend you watch the Volcano eruption.

It'll only take about 10 minutes of your time, but stop long enough while you're walking the Strip at night to see the Mirage's faux exploding volcano light up. Kids love the spectacle, even though it doesn't last very long.

It's one of those things you're "supposed to do" on the strip but it's only worth it if you're already nearby. It's short and the crowds get huge. I made the mistake of going out of my way to see this and the Sirens of TI back-to-back for some free entertainment, and neither were worth the effort.

The volcano erupts regularly at night and its worth a few minutes of your time if you're in the area. Kids especially enjoy the water and light show.

If you want to see a Volcano go off in the desert then this is the place the best time would be at night time. It has loud noise to it so you can't miss it
