Food is delicious. Not cheap but not overpriced. Recommend the nachos for a group . Jive turkey sandwich is a fav! The raspberry lemonade (alcoholic) is so good you could drink way too many way too fast! again not cheap! TVs well placed to see sports events. Not too loud to interfere with conversation. Always try the bar for seating or call ahead.

Super fun restaurant and bar to experience! Live country music is always good! Casual atmosphere, dining inside and out.

Not vegetarian friendly though.

Casual corner BBQ joint down 1st Street. The cuts of chicken are sizeable, and although they're good as is, you can sample your poultry with various kinds of sauces - I'm partial towards the "Pig Candy." The cornbread is pretty good, and the ribs come easily off the bone. Your alcohol comes in mason jars...try the different flavors of spiked lemonade if you're so inclined. There's outdoor seating, so your furry friends can hang out.

I was here for a work lunch.

The selection was quite large, so I don't think anyone ordered the exact same thing.

There was a tater tot nacho type appetizer that was really good. I ended up with Burnt Ends, wings with cole slaw and cornbread as my sides. I LOVED the wings. They were quite amazing. The burnt ends were tender, but I did need a little sauce to go with it.

A couple of my coworkers got the pulled pork and even looking at it you could tell that it was very dry and they confirmed that. I don't know if it was sitting around under warmers or what, but they did say it was super hard to eat. The baby back ribs were also a bit dry, even though fall off the bone. The brisket was also good, like the burnt ends. A few had the squash casserole and were saddened that it was not very appetizing. It was described to me as mac and cheese with squash instead of the mac, but the squash was super mushy. The mac and cheese was good.

Parking is kind of a pain. Since you are in downtown Livermore, you need to actually park in one of the two public parking lots behind the restaurant and walk over to it. The lot that is further from the restaurant has plenty of spaces though, since it's a really large lot.

I finally got in and was actually able to order food! Before last night I have tried to eat here several times but The first time I was mislead by premature reviews when it wasn't even open yet and a few times they were closed because they ran out of food. I must say I was actually pretty much done with this place but i met up with some friends for our Facebook Meet-up and I had a fantastic time.

We somehow got a huge section up front for our group and had a very fun and awesome server named Jessica. Ok that's not her real name but to protect the identity of our server Laura we'll just go with it. We had a fun and lively group and even kids running around but she was very sweet with us all and really knows her stuff. Hell I would come back here again just to sit in her section.

Ok now to the good stuff! When I arrived I had the last Bacon Infused Jack Daniels that my buddy Andy H. had Jessica hold for me until I arrived. It was frigging fantastic and had the perfect blend of bacon and maple. I'm a fan! They have quite a good selection of drinks for all ages so everyone will feel right at home here.

Ok on with the food! We shared some starters but I was just interested in trying the Rednexican Nachos and I'm so glad i did. These are seriously some of the best tasting nachos I have had in a very long time. It had the perfect combination of toppings but the flavors were incredible. The pulled pork was awesome on the nachos with the bbq sauce and that amazing queso. That cheese sauce was pretty much like kicked up fancy Cheez Whiz and I LOVED IT! You must try these nachos for sure! For my entree I ordered the combo plate with the beef brisket and pulled pork and the baked beans, mac n cheese and cornbread for the sides. The meats were so tender and I would order them again in a heartbeat but i really love that pulled pork. Be sure to dabble with their great selection of bbq sauces. I ended up using them all. Love the Georgia and the Tin Roof. The cornbread was good and the mac n cheese was ok but the baked beans were out of this world good. I love baked beans and these are the top of the charts baby! I wish these beans were all you can eat because I would go CRAZY with them. This is my kind of bbq joint!

I'm really impressed with my experience here and I will be back for sure for the awesome bbq and of course Jessica. If you go be sure to go early to aviod the crowds and in case the kitchen runs out of food early and they close the kitchen. it still happens but is expected with bbq and if they are running out often you know it's damn good!
