The Aquarium of the Pacific is a wonderful place to take your family in Long Beach. It is interactive, informative and the staff are amazing. They are constantly updating their exhibits and they have so many animals for kids and adults to see and even interact with! I highly suggest checking them out while you are in Long Beach.

I've come a couple of times, but the last time was on a field trip. They're extremely organized here, walking in our groups and taking our lunches so we could have them later (instead of walking around with them or leaving them on the school bus).

The exhibits take about 2-3 hours to complete. We were enthralled by the many jellyfish, the tunnel of sea lions and seals, sea otters, puffins, and Lorikeets. All the staff here is so friendly, helpful, and great with kids.

This is a great aquarium, with lots of various marine creatures...in addition to those, they also have a lorikeet area with lots of birds that are fun to watch and interact with. This is a great way to spend a couple of hours.

It is great to bring little kids but not so great for teens. The place can get a bit boring.

Went for the first time with a five-year-old, there were many informative exhibits and very helpful staff exclamation point would be great for a field trip or a day out with the family.

Lots of sea life for the kids to see. Touch the baby sharks. Feed the birds too!

This is a wonderful place to bring kids. I brought my young nieces and nephews here recently. They were so excited to be able to hand-feed a bird and touch a hammerhead shark. Afterwards head over to Bubba Gump Shrimp or another one of the nearby restaurants for lunch. It is possible to get here by train from our house.

The Aquarium of the Pacific is an amazing place to take your kids, for a date or just to go by yourself! They have so many different types of sea animals and fish to see! There's also touch pools where you can pet sharks and rays. You can easily spend half a day there just exploring all the wonderful marine life.

A little on the expensive side especially with no coupons or deals... my favorite part was touching the sting rays and little sharks. It looks really beautiful inside but I don't like the way some of the employees try to rush you out and to move along.

Great place to wander. Cafeteria food surprisingly good. Paid parking structure. Nice walk along boardwalk to restaurants if you want to keep the day or night going. Not the largest aquarium and gift shop leaves a little to be desired but a fun afternoon!
