I was treated with a 50 min. deep tissue/ swedish massage here ($150). I came in about 25 mins. early to enjoy the amenities. There's a steam room and "The Sanctuary" relaxation lounge to enjoy while you wait.
Lockers, robes, and slippers are available to you. So is a few toiletries, blow dryer, hair straightener, and towels.
My therapist Anna was fantastic. I know she worked really hard on me getting those crazy knots in my shoulders out. The day after the massage, my body wasn't super sore like other times.
After the service, I went back in the steam room and used the shower. Felt like I had the space to myself. It was FAB!

Beautiful building. Nice bar. Always luxury cars out front, and a very good movie theater across the street. In the heart of downtown, and a focal point. Can find amazing restaurants and bars nearby.

They say "puttin' on the ritz" for a very good reason! The Ritz Carton Hotel at LA Live is class all the way. Prepare to come here, kick up your feet, and soak in all that The Ritz has to offer. The staff is amazing and everyone greets you with a smile. Yes, the price tag is high, but it's worth it if you like luxury!

The Ritz Carlton at LA Live is everything you'd expect from The Ritz in a pleasantly surprising and refreshed package. No, you won't find the dimly-lit, red-velvet-lined sitting rooms and meticulously polished mahogany that has become synonymous with the chain. Don't worry, it's every bit as classy as you remember, but with a modern, California twist. Fresh wood paneling lines the hallways, sleek and modern furniture gave my room an updated and lively feel, and the shower-- oh the shower-- is a fantastic Japanese-style tub-in-shower-room type of thing you'd love to have in your home but is way too impractical to ever actually install.

The location is amazing, actually, if you're in the mood to explore Downtown LA or see a Lakers game and the pool area and my room had great views of the city.

My only complaint is that I had to pay for wifi. It's 2011; this is a nice hotel and they charge a pretty penny for the pleasure (pleasure, indeed) of staying here. Is free wifi really an outrageous request?

I stayed in the Ritz LA for a wedding and damn, it was nice. My “standard” room was plush and luxurious, as were the hotel’s other amenities, especially the pool. My friends (the engaged/married couple) were staying in the Ritz-Carleton suite, which was bigger than my house and included a shower the size of my bedroom. I pushed for a shower party, as it could have easily fit fifteen people, but was shot down. The views from the hotel of LA were great, and I only saw better from the Griffith Park Observatory. I wish I had stayed here during basketball season, as its right across from Staples Center, home of both the Lakers and the Clippers (would have loved to see Blake Griffin get freaky). Anyway, I doubt I’ll stay here again as I can’t afford it on my own, but I will cherish the memory and suggest this hotel to anyone whose got the cash.

This hotel is awesome! The view is incredible and the room is very, very nice. You have an in mirror TV screen in the bathroom so you can watch CNN as you get ready. The hotel sits on top of the JW Marriott just outside of LA Live. There is one restaurant at the top with is WP24. Go here for drinks. You get a 360 degree look of downtown LA.
