though. I ordered the egg, cheese and bacon sandwich with a side salad. The brioche bun on the sandwich was what made it so yummy! It was thick and soft but toasted just enough. The arugula side salad was a perfect companion to the egg sandwich. I can see why the lines are so long.

I waited over an hour in line for a sandwich from here and it was worth it for the freshest eggs I’ve ever tasted

Went to the Eggslut in Venice after meaning to go for years...wish I didn't wait so long! I got the Fairfax with bacon and avocado. Eggs, cheese, and caramelized onions AND sriracha mayo? You can't go wrong. There was a little line when we got there and they ran out of bread by about 2pm on a Saturday, so get there early and you can hit the beach boardwalk afterwards. I can't wait to come back.

This place didn't live up to the hype for me. I ordered their famous Eggslut and it just wasn't good. It's a soft boiled egg steamed in a jar with mashed potatoes. It was bland. It needs gravy or something. The tiny pieces of baguettes that it came with were stale. The one plus is the orange juice. It was naturally sweet and quenched my thirst.

I got the coddled egg, which is what most people know as the "slut". I have to say, I was pretty disappointed in the taste and size. It didn't justify the price either or the line I had to wait in.

I finally got a chance to try the famous Eggslut, but the new branch inside of Cosmo Hotel in Vegas. I can see what all the hype is about. The sandwiches and burgers are incredible - anything with a fried and/or poached egg is delicious. What I really loved was how perfectly soft the buns were. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in town for a cheap quick eat. There was no line when I was there. Quite a difference from the LA branch!

I think this is now my favorite burger spot. They sell out at maybe 3ish, and the line isn't too long. Maybe 10 minutes in line and then possibly another 10 to get your food? I really like the Gaucho and the Fairfax.

I found this place to be overly hyped. There's always a crazy wrap around line for this place. Thankfully when I had tried then out, there wasn't a line just yet. I find the food to be good but not great nor good enough to warrant a 20-30 minute wait in line.

Is it worth a 40-minute wait? Only if you are really really hungry. The egg was moist and soft and so was the bun. Don't eat anything as it can take away from your experience. We had coffee and bagel, which definitely made the breakfast sandwich from Eggslut less special. I had half of the sandwich leftover and it was pretty good cold too.

The food is good, but that line is ridiculous. If you don't want to wait over an hour for your food, make sure to get there early.

LONG LINE ALWAYS. Expect it. Deal with it.

We got the GAUCHO (seared wagyu tri-tip steak, chimichurri, red onions and seasoned arugula topped with an over medium egg, in a warm brioche bun)

It was heaven! They only serve it at lunch, but it's worth the wait.

Decent sandwiches but a little pricy for what it is. You can easily make one of these at home.

So hipster. So cute. Long line that I'm not so sure was worth it for a breakfast sandwich. They have no more than 10 items on the menu but it was a good experience with the family.

A battle between giving Eggslut a 3.5 star or a full 4 star. But I enjoyed that morning, so a full 4 it is!

I'm definitely a late bloomer when it comes to making a visit to overly hyped up places. I like to wait it out for months until the following crowds fade out and then give it a go. Saturday morning, the bf and I decided to get up early and made our way to dtla.

Parking: They do have a parking lot at the Grand Central Market. First 60 mins are free with a $10 purchase and get validated. After that, it just gets expensive. I parked at a different lot and just paid $7 since we weren't sure how long we would stay there for.

The line was not too long of a wait. It was long, but moves quite well. About 15 mins in, we get near the front, and a guy takes our order and writes it down on a slip. We hand that over to the register and pay. Another 8-10 mins, we get our food.

Turkey Sausage, Eggs and Cheese: I really enjoyed this breakfast sandwich. Gotta have my ketchup to my eggs.

Fairfax: What was good about this was the sriracha mayo. It was missing some meat. If you could add the sausage paddy with this item, it could be perfection.

Expect a line, always. Worth a try. Enjoy.
