hostess was really great. The waiter was awesome too giving us a good amount of time to choose what we wanted. My girlfriend got the Newport steak and I got the main filet mignon. We also got the appetizer ravioli's. Before our food came out, we were treated to complimentary bread and their special spread. The waiter throughout the meal was very good and always stopped by to make sure we were doing well. The steak that I got was very tender and juicy. We got dessert after, lava cake!! The cake was very juicy and not dry at all. The ice cream was very creamy! Fleming's was great! They gave me a 25 dollar gift card and a box of truffles for my birthday! My gf treated me well with Fleming's =D

Came here before a hockey game at the Staples Center for pregame drinks and snacks. Ended up at Fleming's simply because it was the only place downtown without a 90 minute wait on a Saturday night. It's a typical Fleming's except thankfully they allowed everyone wearing sports jerseys inside instead of having a snotty dress code.

We found a very tight spot at the bar and since it was happy hour, had a couple of drinks and bar "snacks." I say "snacks" because it was mostly hearty bar food. Hubby got a filet sandwich and I got a prime burger, ($15 and $10). Both were very good and a great deal during the happy hour pricing. We also had a mozzarella tray that was really large. I was impressed with the portion sizes more than the taste of the food. My favorite thing was the free basket of sourdough rolls they brought out when we sat down!

It's not cheap, but Happy Hour knocks a few bucks off some menu items. There's a fine selection of specialty cocktails and okay wines, but I really wanted sparkling so I had a glass of prosecco then a glass of champagne off the "regular price" menu.

Our server was so friendly and kind, but she was overworked and serving most of the bar area. The bar area is SUPER tight and packed when it's busy, very uncomfortable for sure. We had to wait longer for our drinks than our food, which came out quickly. Since it was so crowded in the bar, it was also really warm. It was 67 degrees that day but felt like the heat was on inside. Everyone was sweating.

I liked the food and the service for the most part, but I wasn't in love with Fleming's. Then again, it wasn't my first choice by a mile, it was just the only place with no line.

Best Happy Hour in DTLA. If you lucky enough to make it in their happy hour, you are treat you self very nice food for bargain price. Their Cappacious is very delicious and for $6 is a steal. The seating for happy hour is limited to bar and small round table which only good for 3 people max. Not idea for big group.

Not everything in happy hour are bargain, but you just need to look which one suitable for you. The $5 lemonade cocktail drink are quite strong and probably best $5 I spend for a cocktail. This is a great for date in my opinion.

Took my bf here for his birthday dinner. I have to say this was the best dining experience so far. I made reservation early. As soon as we walked in, they greeted us. After verified reservation, server knew we are here to celebrate birthday. He said happy birthday to my bf which was nice.
The ambiance is very romantic with perfectly dimmed lights which felt intimate.
Now on to the food:
Appetizer: we got mushroom ravioli . It was good.
Steak: I got the newport steak and my bf got main filet mignon. Both medium-rare. The steaks was cooked to perfection. Very flavorful, juicy and tender.
Deserts: we got chocolate lava cake. Very moist go well with creamy ice cream. I made special request ask them to write " happy birthday" on desert plate when we order deserts. They executed very nicely.

Our server was very attentive. He always stop by to check on us. My bf received $25 gift card and a box of truffles.

My first trip to Fleming's was amazing! I went for lunch and had the bone-in filet mignon (not on the menu, but just ask for it), which was more on the well done side than the medium I had requested, but it was still super tender, juicy, and flavorful. The steaks are on the smaller side, so you will always have room for sides and desserts. In terms of the sides, the portions are also on the small side, but the shoestring fries and the mashed potatoes are delicious. For dessert, you can't go wrong no matter what you choose. The creme brulee is creamy and full of real vanilla beans, the lava cake is moist and not too sweet (this takes 15 mins to make), and even the basic fresh berries with cream was good. The restaurant was fairly full when I went for lunch (could be because of the holidays), so the service was on the slow side, but the amazing food made up for that.

Located at LA Live which is next to the Staples Center and Nokia theater, I found this Flemings to be up to par with the Newport Beach Flemings. There is a parking lot at LA Live and they do offer validation so parking is free. The restaurant is located on the corner of Figueroa and Olympic.

Flemings had an incredible special going on earlier this month. Steak and Lobster for $34.95 - what a steal!!!! The price included soup or salad and one side dish. We had food to take home.

French Onion Soup - tasty but I've had better
Filet Mignon - soft and tender. I asked for medium rare but came out medium, still good!
North Atlantic Lobster - Nice generous portion of meat.
French Green Bean - crunchy and delicious
Fleming's Mashed Potatoes - very good!

We also opted to order the Chocolate Lava Cake which takes 20 minutes to make. It was worth every calorie. It was a chocolate cake with a molten center of belgian chocolate, served with vanilla ice cream and chopped pistachios. YUMMY!!!!!

If you are on a budget, they do have a reasonably priced lunch menu which is well worth checking out.
