Delicious baked goods but no wifi and only a small lot for parking. Cute place to hang out with friends though.

This place has decent coffee and food. It's a little expensive. Best thing about it is it's literally across the street from my apartment. Check it out.

This location of La Brea bakery is super nice, new and clean. I met up with two ex-coworkers here on a Sunday morning, and was pleasantly surprised by the ease of parking (two options- self parking or tandem parking if you're cool to leave your key with an attendant).
The draw here is the bread, so we got the bread basket. Came with honey, cinnamon sugar, butter and jam, but the butter was our preference. I think it was weird they had individually wrapped cold butter packs instead of softened butter in a dish- after all we're here for the bread- but our server was happy to get more butter as we requested (more butter plz!)

I ended up getting the smoked salmon plate as my main dish. I liked the smoked salmon- not too salty- but the bagel that came with it was half toasted and way too big. I ended up using bread from the bread basket and enjoyed that way more.

Service is friendly, although there was a snag- one of our group ordered 3 different premade salads, and it took forever to get to the table. As I said- they were premade, all they had to do was throw the salads on a plate- this took over half an hour, AFTER the rest of us were served. Very odd timing and didn't let us enjoy all our food together.

Got a few things at their to go counter on the way out for the husband. The turkey and avocado sandwich was extremely dry- on purpose probably because they don't want them to get soggy. Just a warning! Also got the farro salad as a side which was excellent.

A mixed bag, but overall that parking makes it so convenient to go here in this part of town I'll give em 4 stars.

love this new and bigger location. The service was so much better and friendly. I remember when I went to old location, the lady was super unfriendly and bad attitude, and said "no photos", and there were fly. Anyway, this new location is very clean and open space, there are many tables so you can actually sit down and enjoy your lunch. Also there are area where you can buy the food by lbs.

Even if you don't live in LA, I'm sure you've had La Brea Bakery bread at some point in your life. If not, then you should! La Brea Bakery is the best, specializing in true artisan bread. My favorite is their rosemary olive oil loaf, which I've been consuming since I was a kid. They are also known for their very delicious (albeit pricey) granola. When I can afford to indulge, I always go for the La Brea granola which is sometimes sold at other supermarkets.
