Awesome place to visit to check out the shows. I didn’t have the opportunity to dine here but I heard the food was just okay.

MAGIC!

Luckily we had a magician friend who got us in. I heard it's very difficult to get a reservation and even if so, the requirement is to get at least one dinner here in order to access it. That's where they make the money. I heard the dinner is average but very pricey.

You feel very privileged being here. No photos are allowed at all time. Do not forget to dress up and wear a tie or bow tie. If you forget one like me, they provide you one at the front desk.

There are different shows at a different time so you decide where what you want to see.

Want to see the most secreted spots where you can only go when you know people who are magical? Well that place is the magic castle which has an invite only venue to see the magics of illusion and mind reading. It is for you to explore the artistic world of magic and it's illusions. Dress code is strict and need suits for guys and dresses for the ladies.

The best Magicians in the wold have trained and come through here. To get an invite, you must know a magician or a member. It’s one of the most incredible places to visit in la if you ever get a chance.

One of my favorite experiences in Los Angeles! If you are a lover of magic then this place is a must visit. Visits are by invitation only but if you get a chance to go I highly recommend it. The inside of the castle is beautiful with every inch decorated with its vintage magic theme. Shows here are sure to amaze. The castle has much to explore and contains history of magicians.

If you ever get the chance to attend the Magic Castle, it's a must! Invites are usually through a magician who is a member of the castle. There are all kinds of acts once you step inside: up-close table side magic and small auditoriums with larger magic shows. The event usually requires dining at the castle (minimum purchase of 1 entrée per guest, prices range around $20-40). Other than that, grab a cocktail, walk around, and explore the place!

If you love magic then this place is for you! Went here for a second time recently. Food was ok, nothing special and a bit pricey but you have to order an entree to see some of the main shows. They have lots of magic all throughout the castle, from the small tables to the main stage, all impressive stuff! Great for date night or groups. Go check out the ghost on the piano and request a song!

I recently visited the Magic Castle for the first time and it was dare I say, magical. We were invited by a member and our party met up when it opened to the public at 5 pm. We didn't have dinner reservations and opted to grab some appetizers from one of the bars instead. Food is served at the bar starting at 6 pm. The member who escorted us in wanted us to experience some of the Close-Up Gallery magic shows and the Parlour of Prestidigitation show. We even had some one-on-one magic with the member who invited us! So for the evening we saw 4 different shows. We didn't make it to the Palace of Mystery which is for dinner guests with reservations but Marc Summers was one of the featured magicians!

We grabbed some food at the bar upstairs by the Palace of Mystery. Our bartender suggested ordering chili and the truffle fries because those would come out quickly. I also tried some of the drinks: Mystical Melon, Side Car, and the Bulldog Bite. My favorite of the evening was the Side Car. Photography is not allowed inside the Magic Castle so I don't have any food shots for you. The food was ok but what you really come here for is the magic. There are so many talented magicians here that it's hard to pick and choose which shows to attend. Whichever you do see, be prepared to be amazed. It's mind-blowingly awesome. That is all.

Probably one of the best places I've been to in LA. The food is a little on the pricey side but it's not bad and well worth it for the ambiance. It's the only place I know where you can drink and watch close up magic. Great place!

I always wanted to go here due to its exclusivity, and I'm very glad I got the chance to. When my friend, Shanon Y., invited me, I took up on the chance immediately. I have to say thanks to Nelson for getting us in as well. It was a great experience, and I enjoyed every little bit of it.

We got pretty lucky for coming on a weekday. I heard that weekends get packed. Luckily, we were able to attend every single show going on that night. We were super exhausted by the end, since the last show was at 12:30AM. But all in all, it was worth it, and I'm super glad I got to experience this.

They serve dinner there as well, and you can order drinks either at the bar or through the hostess who comes around during the beginning of each show.

I hope I get another chance to go again.

If you have an opportunity to get invited to the Magic Castle, change your plans and go! The magic castle was one LA Bucket List item that I crossed off last Halloween! We were invited by a friend’s coworker who is a magician there. The Magic Castle is an old mansion filled with different magic shows in each room. The shows are about 15 minutes long and the “theater” holds less than 20 people, so it’s intimate. All I can tell you about this place is it was a great experience and a must do once when in Los Angeles.

someone gets us in to celebrate. We are all dressed to the nines. It is really funny after you valet your car, walk in to the front desk to check in. You may proceed inside but first you must say the magic word. "please"?? ha ha

You cannot see everything in one night especially if you start with dinner first. You have the full run of the castle upstairs, downstairs, the main theatre or just at one of the bars where card tricks are at the tables to the side you can sit and watch. You may be volunteered to help with a trick or two but it's fun to see. There are a few stages you can wait for the next show and grab a seat. Very cozy in a Vegas extravagant sort of way. If you get invited to come to the castle, clear your calendar and get your butt over here. Not everyone gets in let alone get invited but it's one of those things to do in LA or you don't want to miss while visiting LA type of lists. If that's the sort of thing you like to do.

If you can get an invite, go to the Magic Castle. It's so unique that you will always remember it. Magic, food, a reason to get dressed up and go out- all positives.

Notes:
-There is a dress code, so check it beforehand.
-Different tickets require different purchasing minimums.
-You have to be invited by a member because it's a private club BUT if you stay at the hotel, you will get guest passes.

This is a private Magicians Club in LA if you are lucky enough to snag a invite take advantage. The entire evening is a magical illusion of master magicians in very small intimate settings. Located on an old Victorian house you can just see old fashions seance happening the up stairs parlor. This is a great evening out for adults only.

Magic meets LA social life. The magic castle sets the gold standard for making something that could be nerdy and elevates it to its proper entertainment status
