Perch is a beautiful restaurant with live music and rooftop view of DTLA. The restaurant/bar is on the 15th floor and on 16th floor is their rooftop lounge/bar. Both floors have live music. Their white chocolate bread pudding is a must get item on their dessert menu.

Perch has been of one of those places I’d only heard about and never been. I’m not much for night life these days but they serve a standard brunch menu with a lot of healthy offerings. My friend was celebrating her birthday so I finally got to try Perch. We had a reservation at 11 am. I drove up from OC and parked in a nearby lot. I didn’t want to try and find a meter if I could help it. Getting to the top is a little tricky. There’s a person in the lobby that will direct you to the 13th floor. Then you have to get into another elevator to the 15th where the restaurant is. The Rooftop bar is up on the 16th. We dined outside on the 15th floor with a clear view of DTLA. We decided to share a pitcher of Sangria ($29) and it a great choice. My friend and I decided to split the French toast ($13) and Three-egg omelette ($12). The omelette was made with mushrooms, spinach, and cheese; it was served with a side of potatoes. The French toast came with Vermont maple syrup and fresh berries. The French toast had a doughy texture much like a croissant but it was really good. The service was great. We had waters on the table for the entire party and had to add an extra chair because we had an unexpected addition to our party. The staff accommodated us without issue. There is something to be said about dining in the open air for brunch. It’s refreshing and fun. They even have a live jazz band. After our meal, we trekked upstairs for more amazing views and another drink. It’s definitely something to check out if you’re visiting LA on a beautiful spring day.

Happy hour is okay and the view is great. It can be a bit loud which is annoying and space can be limited.

The vibe of this bar is amazing! There is nothing better than sipping on a delicious mojito while watching the sunset of the LA skyline. Truly breathtaking.

Perch is a nice place to lounge about if you can get in. Overlooking the rooftops of DTLA and a casual crowd with good, strong cocktails. You can order food as well but make sure to RSVP in advance. It's a happening place on the weekend for sure.

depending on the day of the week it can range from laid back very packed with no seating available which doesn't bother some with such a nice view, drinks are delicious and reasonably priced

I give it three stars because our server was great. One of our orders was forgotten or taken to another table and it was rather disappointing that the kitchen/manager didn't do anything to rectify the situation. Make reservations early and in advance. Sunset and at night are the best times to be there. Gorgeous view.

This is still my favorite rooftop in DTLA. This venue is mostly outdoor, with a separate complete rooftop on the top floor with additional bar and couches. The food here is exquisite, modern Americanized French. Decently priced ($15-35). Cocktails are great and nice bartenders. I always have great service when I'm here. Best part is the band the play on the outdoor patio on the main dining floor! Spectacular views.

Wonderful atmosphere, just make sure the elevators are operational. 5 flights of stairs tonight. Pictured is the baked Brie, very tasty, warm and creamy. The bouillabaisse very hearty and filled with succulent shell fish. The rabbit ravioli on point.

Great place for brunch on weekends or a night out in downtown with great drinks and great views over looking the city. Simple menu but very tasty and a good selection of cocktails and beers available. Some self seating areas by the bar but other than that you will need a reservation or hope to wait for a cancellation in person.

I love this place! the view is amazing. I actually ended up chilling here with a friend for like 6 hours with a great bottle wine (had 2 bottles of wine haha). There are couch seats in the restaurant area which are first come first serve in the bar area. The food here was good but not AMAZING. but the views.... so worth it. Recommend!

If you come here on weekends you will have to stay in line for a while before you can get on the roof. Honestly the view isn't all that great but they do have live performances (bands, jazz, etc)

It's is a multi leveled restaurant and roof top bar. The restaurant on the lower floor has decent food, but the real draw is the roof top bar. The night time view of downtown LA is what makes this location special.

Amazing space and view over downtown LA. Enjoyed the cocktails but the service and food were mediocre. It's a spot that can get away with okay food because the space and scene are far beyond what the kitchen or servers are providing.

Head for a cocktail and app but I'd skip for a meal.

If you're going on a Sunday night, you'll probably want to make a reservation because there was a long line. View is totally worth the wait though! Bartenders super friendly too.

This place has the best views of downtown LA, but get there before 9 or expect to wait a fair bit to see it. Ambience is super cute and romantic but give the food a pass.
