Wonderful little brasserie atmosphere, with great French inspired food. Love their winter holiday menu with pillowy gnocchi. They even have Bûche de Noel to order & it tastes chocolatey and divine!

Aside from it's charming entry, the Little Door welcomes you from start to finish! Love the interior, the ambiance, and the people! Among participating DineLA restaurants, Little Next Door's menu provided a variety to choose from, which stood out from the long list of restaurants. Each course was delectable, making The Little Door a place to revisit!

I've brunched at Little Next Door a couple times and always had a good time.

The food here is great and love the mimosas! Get the cheese/charcuterie platter to share.

The only downer is parking. It sucks! Just valet it.

Little Next Door, I will definitely be back for you because
1. Your French Onion soup is delicious and filling
2. Your waiters are actually French. Legit
3. 3 celebrity sightings on a Saturday morning
4. Excellent patio seating and fun ambiance
5. Prices are pretty decent
I am sad that they were out of fries when I was there because I really wanted some but other than that, the food was delish. My friend's crème brulee is the best I've ever had (way better than my mille feille) and I was also a fan of the oreo cookie (free if you check in to yelp). Can't wait for my next visit!

Cute place! I like that the staff IS French! And so were some of the customers.

I had dinner here with none other than Audrey Lo :p and she highly recommended the mussels, and yes, they were delicious! The sauce is amazing, flavorful and buttery. I couldn't stop dipping the complimentary bread in it. You can't go wrong with the mussels and fries.

Dessert: I loved the chocolate soufflé. The chocolate hazelnut cake was very rich. They also have very good cookies.

Service was alright... I did not like our table. It was in an awkward spot by the door and the pastry display, so perhaps we could have gotten better service if we had been seated among other diners.

Valet parking!

One of my favorite place to get french pastries in the area. I tried mille-feuilles (one of my fav), palmier, homemade oreo cookies, macarons, almond croissants, pain au raisins, brioche, ahi tuna tartar sandwich, etc. They are all delicious. Don't forget to use yelp check-in offer for your choice of free cookie (you get to choose from macarons, palmier and cookies)

The Little Door isn't L.A.'s finest restaurant but with its combination of excellent food, impeccable service and a uniquely pleasing decor, it ranks in the top echelon. There is no sign on the door - just the street number. The owner is French and most of the waiters are French while the food is a Mediterranean fusion.

I visited The Little Door with a few girlfriends to celebrate a friend's birthday a few months ago. Although I forget what I had for dinner, I do remember that the service was superb and the manager made a point to come by and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Since it was my girlfriend's birthday he gave us complimentary round of champagne. I believe the manager was also in the nightlife industry and gave us a few contacts for some of the nearby nightclubs. Welcoming staff and an intimate restaurant to catch up with some old friends or to bring a date.

The most romantic set up Ive seen in awhile.
The little door is located right next to the Little next door and its a hidden blank door, sort of gave me a bit of a enchanted feel.
The ambiance was lovely, with tons of different plants hanging everywhere and jungle music playing in the background , sounds silly but really was nice.

We were not allowed to be seated until our whole party arrived, I thought this was a silly idea being that a lot of the tables were opened but we hung around the bar for a bit and the bartender kept making these "ehhh" drinks.

Food was excellently prepared, I ordered the truffle mushroom ravioli and my friends ordered Monk Fish, and Oxtail dish all were very well received. At first glanced my ravioli dish didn't look like it will be too filling but literally half way through it I was getting incredibly full.

For dessert we ordered the best coconut cheese cake I've ever had! Oh my gosh, everyone must try this !! it was so soft full with flavor and the fruits really added the extra umped to it.

we thought we were going to leave the restaurant by 10 as most of us were just about done eating, but we ended up chatting till 1:30am!!!

we spent about $65 dollars per girl (4 girls) including tax and tips.

Warning for parking: make sure to read the signs! my friend got a ticket for parking in the residential area without a permit.

Cute restaurant and it had a great vibe. The place was super busy around 1:30pm on a Sunday. The music could be less loud because it was hard to understand what my server was saying because he had a very thick accent. We were seated in a tiny section in front of the pastries and no one came to take our drink orders for at least 15minutes so I had to hunt one down.

Our server was nice but I was a bit irritated due to their lack of service in the beginning. I'm sure he's a great server if he wasn't running around handling other tables.

Food was delicious! Their complimentary bread was great and you have to try their coffee/latte! I'd give this restaurant 5 stars for the food.

My wild mushroom eggs benedict was topped with a lot of mushrooms. The bread was soft and it went well with my side salad. My friend ordered the spanish omelet and he loved the side potatoes.

TIP: you get a free cookie if you check in! the cookie tastes better when dipped in coffee or vanilla latte.

Sexy, sultry and delicious. This is a great place for a date or a quiet dinner with friends. The menu is eclectic but everything we had was quite good. I highly recommend the mezze platter.

One of LA's most romantic restaurants? I'll bite...and I'm so glad I did.

This was one of the most amazing restaurant experiences I ever had. Right when we walked in, we felt like we were transported to some secret garden in the heart of LA. The atmosphere was very romantic, with the dim candle lit tables and trees growing in this sort of indoor/outdoor patio that had ivy covering the "ceiling".

The wait service did an excellent job. Our server, French of course, was extremely attentive and helpful with our dining experience.

The food was delicious. To start we had black mussels and ahi tuna tartar. There were about 30 mussels in the dish, plenty for the two of us. The tartar itself was great, but I have to admit the bread it came with wasn't crispy at all. I wouldn't order that again when I go back.

For our entrees, we went big and got the duck duo, the prime rib, and the halibut. Our favorite was definitely the duck, but the prime rib was just as excellent. I thought the portions were appropriately sized and I was starving when I came.

All in all, I definitely recommend the place for a date. Everything about it was so romantic!

L.A.’s Little Door may as well be called The Secret Garden—its intimate patio, accessed through rustic wooden doors, is filled with bougainvilleas and has a tiled fountain and koi pond. Wrought-iron candelabras bathe the lush garden in soft light, and an outdoor bar serves champagne and wine (and the entire selection is offered by the glass).

Caught a brunch here with a friend, it was a very French experience...had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon. Super rich, eggs perfectly cooked. The pastries here all looked great, we had a delicious madeline cookie. Got a chocolate almond croissant for the husband, he loved it...I'd be back more often if it wasn't so hard to park around here on the weekends!

Love this little french spot on 3rd! With traditional french quisine, delightful ambiance on the outdoor patio, and food made from organic farmers market produce, I definitely recommend this spot for a great date night. I fell in love with the Wild Arugula, Warren Pear, Pomegranate & Picante Gorgonzola Cheese salad and the Farro Risotto & Baked Fresh Marinated Goat Cheese.

Little Next Door is such a great French café to dine at. The French staff is very friendly and welcoming, not snobby at all. You can choose to dine outside on the patio or inside their cozy restaurant where wine lines the walls. The escargot is delicious with the garlic butter sauce and the mussels come in a great wine sauce. Though the skirt steak was thin, the sauce really added to it. For dessert, both the coffee and the chocolate eclairs are good. They have a bunch of other choices too in their dessert case, which all look amazing. On the regular dinner menu, there is a prix fixe menu for about $35, which includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. A great deal for good food!

This is the best French Restaurant in LA. I even ate here with a Parisian Producer friend and he said the food was good. The waiters are all French and the food is amazing. Their French wine list is one of the best in town. This place is so French they even figured out a way around the LA smoking ban! There is an "outdoor" area (with a garden style ceiling) where you can have your cigarettes or cigars at your table. I prefer sitting inside for this reason, and the rooms in the back are beautifully lit, with French-Moroccan style lamps and glass lanterns, cushions etc. The best thing I've had there is fish. But, it's all good!
