night. If that's how it is on Mondays, I see this place easily filled on other nights. The Roasted Garlic Grilled Pizza was the clear winner here. There was a good spice in the sauce which surprised us. A second bite got a bit more spicier, which wasn't bad at all. Good flavor in a flatbread pizza. The Bacaro Burger with Fried Egg was second best. This open faced burger got most of it's flavor from the seasoned medium rare beef. Even the fried egg on top wasn't too necessary, if only to make the open face burger prettier to look at. I'm a typical burger fan so this isn't really a surprise. The bone marrow and the mac and cheese were a bit of a letdown. The bone marrow was served with 4 pieces of bruschetta bread which to me did not match any of our other tapas dishes in terms of flavor or quantity. It was neat to try once, but I'd probably just grab another burger instead as I would have enjoyed that more. The mac and cheese was not as flavorful as it could have been either even with the truffle help. There's more menu items to choose from which also looked plenty enticing, so just another reason to return.

Great for DINE LA - All you can drink... Sangria and wines.

cheap way to get boozed up with some really nice tapas for 25 dollars a person. It's not Grade A quality, but some of the dishes are!

Pro Ass Tip - GET THE LAMB STUFFED EGGPLANT

Sorry no pictures, too dark to take quality pictures.

Tapa style dishes !

Monday happy hour is superb - $6 for Oven Roasted Bone Marrow
Also, they have wine down wednesdays too!
Lastly, there is AYCDrink for $20, 90 minutes.

One of my favorite spots as a USC student, and even as a post-grad, I still love to come here! The food is really, really good and perfectly sized for tapas.

It's gotten a little pricier over the years as the restaurant has gotten more popular, but overall, I still wouldn't call it an expensive place to eat. Currently, it's $9/tapa or 3 tapas for $24. Going with 2-5 people in your group is best if you want a little bit of everything you order. I think ordering a total that averages about 2.5 tapas per person is the perfect amount.

My favorites and my friends go-to's are the pan-seared polenta, the burrata, the bruschetta (we usually get the tomato and basil, roasted garlic, or pesto), the chicken panini (the dipping sauce is killer!), the chipotle cauliflower, the Bacaro burger, the mac and cheese with bacon, the hanger steak, the seared scallops, and you can't go wrong with one of their pizzas!

They also have really good happy hour deals. On Monday, you can get the tapas for $6 each, which is what it used to be! They have a "wine down Wednesday" when each glass of wine you order becomes exponentially cheaper by a dollar. Their all-you-can-drink for $20 lasts 90 minutes and is only really worth it if you're a big and fast wine drinker. If you just like to enjoy a couple glasses with your meal and take it slow, then you're better off ordering by the glass. They also have sangria by the pitcher, which I think is a great deal and goes easily with all the different tapas.

Since it's a pretty small place and space is limited, you might want to make reservations if you have a larger party or if it's the weekend. They have a pretty good brunch on weekends too.

A small little hipster place. Great for big groups or small groups.

Open bar for $20? Yes, get wasted. We were a birthday party of maybe 20 people and required all of us to pick the $20 open bar. So unfortunately we couldn't go with that awesome deal since some didn't want to drink.

The food is honestly a little overpriced. My friend and me ordered a $9 pizza (probably the size of 2 iphone 6+ next to each other). It was finished with 2 bites. Now compare it too the $9 pizza at Costco that feeds 5 people. And the pizza at Bacaro LA was a little too salty. Other than that we had a season dish salmon. The salmo was a piece of "too small".

I think I would come here to get wasted with friends but would reconsider dining here.

Came in here during DineLA for a friend's birthday and again for my birthday. American tapas style dishes. They have a great open bar options, like 90 mins of open bar on house beer and Sangria. The place is quite small so I'd recommend reservations. Service is friendly. During DineLA, it was busy. Our server did the best she could with a large party but got some orders mixed up and some in our party received their orders much later than others, much. With the same amount of people in my birthday party, our server was awesome. Brought everyone's order to them and refilled our open bar pitchers just when it was getting low. Granted, it was a bit slower that day than my first experience. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experiences here and wouldn't mind coming back.

Cheers.

We bought a groupon and had a large party for a birthday celebration and got the back spot with the super long table.
Why just 3 stars you ask? Especailly with open bar for 90 minutes!?
Well first, i felt our server was has a bit of tude when serving us, he wasnt nice when i asked for suggestions nor was he helpful when we noticed our pitchers were becoming empty. Plus most importantly no free smiles were given!!
My man said he was probably having a bad day or something but really?!

Now the food was also subpar here, i had a panini and when i got it, it was dry and barely edible, I felt like i wanted to let the guy know but because he had such a unwelcoming attitude i just left it, and I hate wasting food!!

The food was ok. For a tapas place, the portion was generous. I'd recommend only the bacaro burger. The service was rather poor considering the place is no bigger than the average 1 bedroom apt. I would recommend it only if you are in the neighborhood. I would not seek it out.

Every first Sunday of each Month @5:30PM and 8:00PM, Bacaro has their AYCE, AYCD menu called "Beefsteak Sunday" for $25 a person. It's all you can eat grilled hanger steak, bread, butter, and roasted market potatoes with all you can drink red wine and beer.

This past Sunday was Octoberfest Sunday. It was $35 a person, but they added bratwurst sausage and sauerkraut. Bratwurst was awesome~ but honestly, it wasn't worth the extra $10 per person. But I am not taking a star away for it because it was a great promotion and the sausages were awesome!

The plates of beefsteak and bratwurst came with sliced bread and potatoes. They probably do that to fill you up but they didn't seem to care if we didn't finish the bread. In the beginning we ate all the bread thinking that we were supposed to lol~ but out of 8 plates that we devoured between 4 people, we stopped eating the bread around plate #4.

I would definitely come back for another Beefsteak Sunday. The beefsteaks were cooked perfectly medium rare, seasoned just right and they were SO DELICIOUS. And you got the AYCD beer and wine? I'm going again in November! Who's down!??!
