A cool museum with some cool space and aviation exhibits. They also have temporary exhibits, like the recent King Tut exhibit. Overall, it’s overpriced, and the gift shop for the Tut exhibit was bigger than the actual featured exhibit. If they could make it more affordable, like the Natural History Museum, it would be much more worth the trip.

This museum is fun for adults and kids alike. The Special Exhibits are often interested (until Jan 13, 2019 it's King Tet). I highly recommend getting ice cream or float and enjoy it in the Rose Garden.

Inspiring to get to see Space Shuttle Endeavor and shuttle fuel tank. The exhibit pays great tribute to the engineers (particularly the role of California aerospace companies) in the shuttle program. The rest of the exhibits (ecosystems and air/space) are just okay. Admission is free but you must make reservations to see the shuttle! There is a great IMAX theater.

The science center is fun and nature-ish but a bit out-dated! Great place for kids though!

This is a great science museum, located in Exposition Park. You can find various space-themed exhibits as well as exhibits on earthquakes and various ecosystems around the world. They are one of three science centers around the country that has one of the old NASA space shuttles--in this case, the USS Endeavor.

Fascinating and educational. Artful and respectful display of donated bodies. Children must be with adults. Reservation required.

Great day out on a low budget. Entrance is free but look at their website for additional activities at a small fee. Go early with kids.

This is a nice place to go with the kids as well as for adults. Admission is free with the exception of some exhibits that you pay. So much to look at and learn.

Love this place, lots of nifty things to do when you are there that makes you feel like a kid again. Students get discount off special exhibits like currently is the behind the Pixar animations. With that you also get to see the endeavor. The space ship that went outside the earth.

Went here specifically for the incredible Science Behind Pixar exhibit in December 2016. The exhibit was amazing and I 100% recommend hightailing it out there just for that if you can catch it before it closes. We also stopped in to check out the Endeavor, which is very cool, though similar to the Enterprise at the Intrepid in NYC.

Great free museum for the kids. Check out the space shuttle, airplanes, interactive hands on displays, etc. You can take the bus to the metro lines where it will bring you within walking distance to the entrance.

Great science center!!! The exhibits are very interactive and interesting. My brother does not like museums, but took him here anyways and he loved it. He was seriously running around like a child. Most days is free unless it's a peak day. Must watch a show in the IMAX theater!!!!

What a great museum for all ages!
Seeing the Endeavor was very touching. The kids had fun running around and exploring hands on exhibitions and the kid's zone.

SoCal residents should feel so fortunate to have something as magnificent as this place to offer people of all ages something educational and to top it off, this place is absolutely free of charge! Isn't that amazing?! There's tons of free exhibits to check out and I highly recommend making a visit, especially if you have children! This is like Disneyland for science lovers! There are a few exhibits that do require admission fee but it's priced reasonably at $2. Price is no issue when it comes to taking the family out for an educational adventure that's both fun and interactive!

This is an amazing experience. I really only went for the space shuttle, but it's a sight to see in person. Out of this world!!! If you visit, make sure to sit and watch the video showing how they moved it through Southern California and see how many places you can spot.
