The refrigerator door is really cool. Looks like a 70's/80's living room when you step inside. Bar is to the right and the backyard has good food :)

Great overall vibe! Dark interior with a dark outdoor space! Themed music nights and great looking people!

Cool spot in Hollywood spinning psychedelic tunes. The lines are always extremely long so if you're patient go ahead and wait in it. Otherwise come early around 9 or don't come at all. Cool entryway, you walk through a refrigerator door to get in.

Hipster meets a dive bar. Great visuals with an old home theme with an outdoor setting when hanging outside. Food is available outside and they serve old fashions on tap inside. Somewhat limited selection of drinks but atmosphere makes up for it.

It was a good time, not a great time. The line is LONG, and apparently it's not a new thing. Waiting such a long line kind of kills the vibe.

I really want to give this place 5 stars cause it is a great spot, and everyone I know loves this place. Maybe I just had a random bad experience, but here's what holds the rating back:

1) Food was terrible. I shouldn't be expecting much from bar food, but their $11 sandwich was actually disgusting, and any friend I tried pawning the dish off to agreed.

2) Very poor ventilation in the "outdoor" part, 10 seconds out there and you smell like an ash tray. That smoke also pours its way into the indoor section and when you combine it with the really gross sandwich, I felt sick.

If the above doesn't bother you, then you'll have a great time. They serve snow cones which is so cool! (side note: I was told the snow cones have alcohol, but mine didn't. Flavor wasn't that great either).

If you're a cool cat searching for a nostalgia ridden place that literally took its design elements from the set of That 70's show and Wonder Years then this is the bar for you.

Its 'hidden' by a fridge door down an alley way that seems like your parent's garage. The foyer is, for all intents and purposes, a 70s living room with a DJ table, the 'kitchen' is the bar and the backyard is a cool outdoor smoking patio with another bar inside what looks like a camper-trailer. On top of this is a clear acrylic deck which at first glance seems like an odd choice for a roof but then SUDDENLY DANCERS ARE ROLLERBLADING ABOVE THE BAR! Its great entertainment. The crowd is mostly your typical hipster subculture, but its still fairly diverse and social. The fact that they have alcoholic snow cones is reason enough to check this nostalgia heavy venue out.

Seriously, its always Good Times at Davey Wayne's.

Nice spot for a 70's lovers dream. Entrance is a surprise very similar to the No Vacancy like feel. After a browse I found myself wanting to come back for some more ..but lines are always crazy long ..

I love this place! Vibe is chill and relaxed! Great DJs are always playing and the 70's decor is so funky and fun. You can go out back and enjoy an alcoholic snowcone and relax in hammock style chairs...oh and did I mention you walk through a refrigerator to get inside!?

Ive been wanting to check out Good Times at Davey Wayne's ever since i heard that they were by the same owner of NO VANCANCY! People know how much i love the place and Good Times at DW is just the same amount of cool nice as it's sister company.

If you love the 70's and who doesn't! You will wanna check this place out...unfortunetly you gotta sneak in during those not so busy days like a random Wed evening at like 10pm to avoid any crazy lines! Because, i promise there will be a line and a very very long line at that!

The place is quite small , so i can see why they will need to hold the line but its def. worth a visit ! I loved everything from the trailor bar to the bar tap fridge!
Music was amazing and just an over all wonderment of wanting to check out every crevice of this spot..just cool..soo coooll!

California,

Think if you were hanging at your friend's house party, but in the 70s! DJ blasting some groovy tunes, a great outdoor patio with a bar that makes alcoholic snowcones! Some weeknights they have bands perform, and on weekends they have roller skaters perform an entertaining number on top of the outdoor bar. Definitely worth checking out - but make sure to show up before 10pm, otherwise you'll be waiting. Also there's a dress code so make sure to abide by that as well.

LOVE this place! Music, atmosphere, crowd, I can dance until 2 to 70s music. It's unique and quaint. You walk in through a 70s garage to find the dance floor with an indoor and outdoor bar. I swear the outside area has astro turf. My only criticism is that it's super crowded on the dance floor and a wait for drinks but it's an equal trade for the fun I always have here.

I came here for happy hour with some great friends. This place is so unique from its location to the entrance itself. When you are looking for the location, keep an eye out because you will think it's one of the houses, but once you find it this is a true gem. As you arrive, you get carded and head for the entrance, which is a refrigerator door. I never entered in through a refrigerator door before so it was a unique experience. Once you enter you truly see the appreciation for this place.

As you enter you have the feel of a bar but the comfortability of a house. You head towards the back and you go to the right hand corner and order some great grub from there cook Jason. They have a variety of great choices from tacos to grilled cheese sandwiches, as well as other items on the menu. The flavor is great and will have you wanting more to satisfy your belly. The drinks are just as good as they have some good beer but great mixed drinks. The bartender did a great job and took care of our needs. She was friendly and professional.

Parking is on the side or adjacent street.

Service is great as they make sure your needs are met.

This is the most unique and fun bar I've been to in a long time. The front door is a refrigerator door for starters! I felt like I was at a house party but much better because the DJ, the band and the flaming baton throwing roller skaters on the roof were EPIC! I loved the 70's decor and the camper bar outside that serves snowcones was the icing on the cake. I got there early and didn't want to leave. Then around midnight all the cool kids show up. Get there early because there will be a line!

Ah alcoholic snow cone FTW! The Huston Brothers have done it again. Another speakeasy style bar that takes upon on a journey from the beginning of your visit to the very end. Enter into a 70s themed garage where you can actually purchase the items in the garage sale. Then enter the bar home through the fridge. As you wander through the home everything is decorated perfectly to the theme. The drinks are made to perfection - try a cocktail here! They are amazing! When you enter the backyard, you'll see rollerskating performers every now and then on the roof of an rv shack turned bar!
