Love hiking here! There's so many trails and centrally located. Easy parking and less crowded then Runyon.

Love going there for hikes and photoshoot ops. It's perfect between 5-6am when the sun come up. Purple and pink skies overlooking the city. Best way to catch up with yourself, friends, or your dog!

This experience was fun. Great for someone who likes to hike. Once you reach the top and see the observatory it is amazing for a lover of science.

Griffith Park is the largest park in the area covering over 4,300 acres. It houses the Griffith Park Observatory (a "must see"), multiple hiking trails, picnic areas & the Greek Theatre (an outdoor music venue). You can see some great views of Los Angeles, particularly by going all the way up to the Griffith Observatory.

Have a party or just a fun day with family or friends. Lots to do and fun place to go when you want to get outside. Merry go round is fun and historical. This is merry go round in Movie Mary Poppins...if you didn't know. Got to ride it at least once. I bet it makes you smile :)

From the Observatory to the Los Angeles Zoo, there are so many different things Griffith Park has to offer. During the summer there is Shakespeare in the Park near the spot of the old zoo. There is a fabulous merry go round, an aviary, a golf course, of course hiking trails, and horseback riding! You could spend just a few moments driving through to check out the view of Los Angeles or you could spend hours and days checking out all of Griffith Park!

There's much to do inside griffith park other than picnic and have a birthday party there's the zoo, the autry museum, hiking trails, horseback riding, golfing there's train and pony rides for kids at the front entrance of the park. Travel town and the live steamers at the back entrance of the park. During the summer there's Shakespeare in the park located in the abandoned zoo area which is also another great place to hike Lots to do here for a tourist and locals. The griffith absorvatory is also inside the park and The Greek theatre. Definitely have to atleast drive through it if your a tourist. Parking is free everywhere No park admission.

Griffith Park is pretty massive with something for just about anyone, from the obseevatory, the zoo, hiking trails, Greek Theatre, TravelTown, etc. No trip to LA is complete without a stop here.

This place is awesome to go to at night and see the city. You have to come before the sunset because the parking can be a nightmare. And don't try during any holiday, it's guaranteed to be super packed. You can see the Hollywood sign too.
