I love this museum! There is always something new to see and experience. Great place to bring children - they always have art classes for little ones.

We truly enjoyed visiting the LACMA. The children's museum had water colors & story time for my little. The light exhibit is truly something to see. We were assisted by the staff and given suggestions, with questions being answered with gentle smiles. And they have a free children's membership with extras for my little & me. We will be back soon.

One of the must go places if you're in LA. The museum is very clean and organized and there is a nice grassy area which is connected to the La Brea tarpits.

Great place for a date but also for the family. Look at the Los Angeles history through art and also different type of art. Love the picnic concerts they have out door specially in the summer

If you have a military ID it's FREE! Though the down side is parking is 16 bucks if you park in the parking structure. Some areas allow you to take photos and some don't. The art was very interesting and opened my kids minds and eyes.

While the LACMA has some breathtaking works of art that will be worth the visit, I think the overall experience feels more like walking through a half-finished warehouse than a cozy museum to enjoy the works of modern art. The best museum experiences are the ones you can immerse yourself into the art: the perfect median between cozy and monumental. But this museum just feels empty and too industrial for my tastes.

We came at 5am and had the place all to ourselves! Illegally (I'm sure) parked on the street lol.

LACMA is an iconic museum for the LA area whether you walk through the front light posts to the wonderful Japanese museum to the far right to the giant boulder in the back to the iconic Rain Room. There's a ton to see and tough to trek all in one day and I think the place is great for all types of museum folks. Definitely a must see in SoCal (and usually food trucks and tons of cafes/restaurants nearby).

This place is great. Sometimes they have free days. I think there's a discount for LA residents close to closing time.

LACMA is your best bet if you need an art fix in L.A. The museum has a nice collection of modern and contemporary art spread over many buildings. Think of it more as an art complex than a typical museum. Beware, parking is a hassle.

LACMA is probably my favorite contemporary art museum in LA. the moment you step in and begin exploring you feel like an artist yourself. Especially good for families or groups of friends

Fun seeing all the modern art exhibits and getting to stand under the urban lights. A lot of exhibits were closed. I think y'all could have better time management.

FREE outdoor art that's available day and night. Parking is available around the block.

This is where they have the famous lamp post art installation collected from around Los Angeles. They have been featured in a few movies.

The largest art museum on the west coast, LACMA holds more than 150,000 works from ancient times to present. Located on Museum Row, adjacent to the La Brea Tar Pits. A must-see.
