Ferris Wehbe created the space where both locals and destination diners can unwind without the typical Hollywood list policy. A few blocks from Sunset, Next Door allows guests to enjoy innovative cocktails and contemporary bites that are recession-proof in a sleek, speak easy-inspired space reminiscent of the 1920s when industry, flappers, and the rise of Hollywoodland’s black and white films reigned supreme.

I went to a comedy show being held here, and the ambience was fantastic. It had a nice vintage atmosphere.

Where can you find a speakeasy hosted casino in LA? Hint: During Under Raidar & Next Door Lounge hosted speakeasy casino night.

They transform the lounge with several roulette, craps, and blackjack tables.
We were treated to one cocktail sponsored by Kill Devil Spirits.

Dress code: 1920's Prohibition Era + Speakeasy inspired outfits

With your drink purchase, you got play money and a raffle ticket.
They held a raffle drawing hourly. And, bonus raffles at the end of the evening.
I found myself losing to the dealer's blackjack throughout the night.

Overall, this is a great place to dress up in 1920's clothing and play some table games.

I didn't know this cool bar existed. It has a wide selection of drink choices. I didn't try their food, but they all look good. You can find street parking, or valet for $6.

This is a interest lounge. Very exclusive atmospheres. No windows and can't see inside. The atmosphere is like very 1920a mafia era.

The cocktail drink is pretty good so is the foods. Frat place to host event !

A very classy speakeasy in Hollywood away from the craziness of Hollywood & Sunset Blvd. You can find the lounge from the illuminated key outside. They have some great event programming here, notably whiskey wednesdays and prohibition casino nights!

The lounge is very well furnished and good size. They also have some delicious flatbreads and the those skinny pretzel sticks are so addicting! You normally need a password to get in which you can find from their social media.

Had the opportunity to come here for a Casino Themed Night, and I am glad I came. The venue is a classy establishment, and they hold different events there. I heard they also do Mystery Dinner there, which I have yet to try. I was also told that they make their own whiskey in the back, in their own barrels. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try them yesterday, but I will be back.

Drinks are a bit pricier here. $14 for a Madatten, which uses Maker's Mark and Orange Bitters. Their Old Fashioned was good too. They poured a lot of alcohol in it, which I liked.

Valet Parking at the front for $6, or you can opt for street parking if you can find any.

We had a great time during the Gogobot event, playing casino and Russian roulette, the dress code was 1920's and the design atmosphere matching perfectly with the place!:-)

It is really fun. We got 200 chips to play. We played Russian roulette, really like play in Las Vegas. Hahahah
And all the attendees dressed 1920's fashion. Like through the time tunnel.
The bar service is very good and the atmosphere is like prohibition time.

Speakeasy bar with good drinks and great vibe. Dress up because it'll set you in the mood to order an old fashioned or beer. They have casino nights here which make the night even more fun!

Place has a very cool vibe. Had 'To Kill a Mockingbird' playing on the screens, classic. Food was well presented and quite delectable to say the least. Dim lit and well furnished. Would recommend to a friend.

Perfect for Date nights and friends gathering. Love the speak easy vibe and atmosphere.

Bartenders and waitresses all dressed in 1920s attires. Great place to hold a small venue because everyone can get intimate if want. If not, then just wander off with your friends.

Don't forget to check out their cocktail menus and happy hour

Attended the interactive murder mystery dinner theater, performed by Dainty Dames last Halloween! My team won, and won most enthusiastic too! The idea of going to a speakeasy in Los Angeles is it fun way to spend an evening--Halloween evening for sure! Plus because they pair you up with others if you're a smaller party, ended up making new friends out of the experience as well!
The dinner was a standard preset menu for the interactive dinner theater, the food was tasty and the drinks were well made.
Check this place out if you get the chance, but I hope you know the password to get in, after all it is a speakeasy!

Had the privilege to come here with my husband's company's Significant others for a theatrical evening for a mystery murder dinner. They rented out the whole location for our group so I don't know how it's like usually, but we were given free reign to sit where-ever (I chose the couch). Theatrics started early with characters interacting with us giving us context as to the nature of the evening. I don't want to give anything away as it is part of the mystery, but there were puzzles involved, along with guessing who the murderer was at the end. Audience participation was encouraged. The food was ok - caesar salads to start, choice of chicken, (fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes and veggies) beef (beef skewers, mashed potatoes and veggies) or pasta,(looked to be bowtie pesto pasta with veggies) and choice of cheesecake or chocolate cake at the end. Hard to concentrate on eating and doing all the figuring out but we managed. Something different, for sure, for a dinner outing. Waitstaff was amazing considering there were only like two waitresses getting drinks and serving all meals.

Been here twice for the special event hosted by Under Raidar Casino Night. The first time the vibe was amazing, the casino games were professionally hosted: roulettes, craps, blackjacks, and for each $100 chip you win you could trade it in for a raffle ticket to win all sorts of prices, the grand prize that night was 8 tickets to Magic Castle, too bad our group did not win but we had 8 of us so it would've been perfect. There was also a tasting for Templeton Rye, and the lovely cocktail waitresses were great eye candies. The second time, however, the vibe wasn't as great. Perhaps because the initial excitement has died down, but they promised a raffle to Aruba so everyone really was looking forward to it and waited all night. But all of a sudden the Under Raidar promoter just abruptly left and a lot of us felt cheated because we were told stay and order more food and drinks, the raffle will be great, but then they bounced and just left everyone hanging. I don't think that's really the Next Door Lounge's fault but they should watch out for who they work with to promote their venue. That's a little unethical. Tonight the Next Door Lounge will be hosted by Under Raidar again, but it left a bad taste in my mouth the last time so I won't be going anymore. Perhaps someone else who check it out tonight can post a review about how it went.

I am not a fan of whisky but i was able to enjoy it throughly and found a new found respect for this quire taste!

I also have to mention i love the bellman and the secret password just to enter..love that prohibition feel!

I like the exclusivity of this place. You can't just walk in, you would need a password and trust me it's not open sesame. It kinda reminds me of the Edison but more intimate. Worth checking out!

A lounge that makes you feel at home. Unheard of! This is my favorite speakeasy lounge anywhere. Great service and good food and drinks. It's unlike any of the other place in town the doorman James is especially kind and I think the reason why most people love it here. There's lots of things going on here so every night is a different experience. Tuesday live jazz an Wednesdays are whiskey Wednesdays the weekends is a d.j. definitely a place to visit.

Update* they now have another sweet and kind doorman and I have now experienced the whiskey tasting and it was great! Very educational and organized. Great experience for everyone and the perfect activity for large groups.
tip: make sure to eat something so you don't get zozzled from all the gigglewater!
