The Petersen Museum showcases a nice range of vehicles from primitive motorcycles to the latest concept sports cars. Their new Hollywood Dream Machines exhibit is the real draw here. They've got actual screen used picture cars from films like Blade Runner, Mad Max Fury Road, Bumblebee, Back to the Future, Luke Skywalker's landspeeder from the original Star Wars, you name it! Reasonable ticket price but parking is a bit much. All said, this was a fun couple hours for an afternoon.

Pretty cool museum with lots of cool cars and exhibits. They also have the forza driving experience and their own restaurant. The museum entry ticket is only like $15 for adults.

I came here to experience the annual Kosher Food and Wine event and got so much more out of this place. It was my first time here, and if you are really in to collectible cars, this is the place to experience it.

Great musem filled with all sorts of automobiles. If you spend a bit more money you can tour the vault which holds cars not on display and has some of the old presidential cars.

Even if your only use for a car is to get from one point to another you might enjoy this automotive museum with its beautiful designs and history.

This museum has went down in quality since remodel now they want to charge you extra to see the good cars on another level recommend that you pass unless you want to spend the extra to see the top quality vehicles. Also parking is a nightmare if you drive a full size truck

Great set up. But paying to go into an American car museum, I would of liked to see more American muscle cars. Alot of European cars that were nice, but not what we were looking for.

IF YOU LIKE CARS, PETERSEN IS A MUST TO VISIT.
WHAT A GREAT day. The cars are so beautiful and many many rare, just unbelievable. You HAVE to take the vault tour. The guide was a charming and very knowledge lady, her entusiasme was great and the cars even greater. All the staff was extremely nice to talk with and very helpful and they loves cars. Was looking at my favourite Jaguar and one of the guards stoped and with out talking to my and with a big smile said "that also mine favorite", he had looked at my face and could see in my face, that we shared the beautiful car.
It is 100% sure, that we will come back, eventhough we come all the way from Denmark.

I came here on Free Museum Day. The line was already pretty long before it even opened at 10. They did a good job letting people in. The wait wasn't as bad. There are 3 floors to go through, if you go through it fast it may take about an hour. There are a lot of classsic cars and cars that appeared in movies! My favorite was the car from Breaking Bad! Yay!

This is definitely a must if you're in the Miracle Mile area!

Wow what a beautiful museum - Inside and out this space is gorgeous! If you're a car enthusiast you're definitely going to love it here. They have everything from famous cars in movies (ie. the Batmobile, Bond car, etc) to restored retro cars to some really flashy ones. There's three floors so you definitely can see a lot, but unfortunately as a girly girl I just can't appreciate all these different models. Gotta tell it like it is.

The Petersen Automotive Museum re-opened in December 2015. It boasts three floors of cars from a fabulous automotive past. The Mullen Salon currently features "Rolling Sculpture" a collection of mostly European Art Deco and custom autos. Only one American car is included in this display, a gorgeous 1938 Graham Convertible customized by Jacques Saoutchik. This is a not-to-be-missed venue for car lovers!

I went to a wedding here last sat, and never knew you can have weddings here!
You get to tour the downstairs vicinity with all the cool vintage looking cars and i believe on the second floor there is more to view- unfortunetly for me, I didnt get the chance to check out the second floor as we were in a hurry to get good seats for the wedding ceremony.

I loved the face that it was located at the roof top where you get a nice little view of LA/ Beverely Hills. Typically on hot summers day people dread sitting in non shady areas but this place was strategically picked because of the nice high raised building covering the area where the ceremony was held. After the ceremony you walk 3 ft and you get your own reception hall . so the convenience factor was a plus!

They had wonderful sitting quarters and a small 30 by 30 area for the reception, Perfect for 100 people guest list..

We went on a lark after spending the morning at LACMA. $12 general admission for adults, an additional $25 if you want to tour "the vault," where they keep all the droolworthy cars in their collection that aren't on display. The museum itself is fun - carefully curated so you can stroll through in about an hour and see a nice variety of different vehicles and memorabilia. The vault tour was led by a very enthusiastic guide who literally talked to us about every single car in the vault - all 100 or so of them! Not someplace you'll need to hit up often unless you are a true car fanatic, but def worth a visit.
